Who /is learning another language/ here?
I'm trying to juggle between this and art but I often end up with no energy left to work on art...
My language learning schedule is rather solid but things never go as planned when it comes to drawing and I always end up wasting my time relaxing when it's time to draw. I feel like I'll never progress as fast as I'd like as long as I'm also spending hours learning something else. I kinda feel jealous of people who can fully dedicate themselves to art, I see how good I've become in that 3rd language and wonder what would have become of my art skills if I had put that time into this instead... well of course in the end I absolutely don't regret it, and I don't wish to stop either. I just wish I had more time, or actually more than time, enough energy to feel fulfilled with both.

Too distracting, I'll just want to actually watch it. I hardly ever watch movies to begin with though, and the only TV I watch is anime so that's not really feasible to listen to while drawing since I'm not good enough to understand without subtitles. I just listen to music while I draw. And I'm studying composition, value, and color.

If you're already somewhat proficient in that language, you could consider taking some of the time you spend on it and allocating it to art. If you don't want to totally cut the time away from the language, you could listen to TV/podcasts/radio/etc in that language to try to boost your verbal understanding, or even listen to a lesson, but I don't think you'd be able to focus enough on that if you were also drawing. Or to avoid burnout you could alternate your schedule, one day focusing on art, the next on language, and so on. Then spend a half hour or so drawing on language days so you can upload here, and the same amount of time on art days practicing the language so it stays fresh in your mind.

Yeah I had it set that the script could only run from 00:00:00-00:00:10 back when I used to run the script manually so that it didn't accidentally run twice on the same day.

I've done it a couple of times, once to update a WIP that I was still working on, and once because I drew more later that night and wanted to include it (via imgur album, not replacing the image). I could save those sorts of things to submit the next day, but I don't want to give myself an excuse to not draw. But I've never replaced the image with something totally different, that isn't what forza's about. It's about a steady work ethic and schedule, not semi-cheating your way into visibility.

I mean actually pay attention and try to really take in the information. Like if you're copying a reference, don't just see that there's a curve there and draw it. Think about why there's a curve there, is it muscle or fat. Imagine the image in 3D, do stuff from (or mostly from) imagination after copying the reference and make sure you use what you learned to help it stick in your mind and make sure you actually learned it, etc. You know when you're "reading" something but not actually paying attention to what the text is saying? Sometimes people do that with their references/studies but you won't learn that way.

I don't even know what I'm doing most of the time. It's almost as if I lost consciousness every time I began to draw and regained it afterwards just to conclude that I'm still absolutely utterly abhorrently bad.

Yeah. I have a lot of trouble with that too. That's why I brought it up, since it recently hit e how important it is. So I've started doing original stuff during and after studies rather than just copying a reference and moving on, and I'm already noticing significant improvement. There's a reason it's called "studying" much more often than "copying."
