I'm a beginner also. Drawing takes a substantial form of study and practice. Lately, I've been using photographic references to better my body forms.

I almost exclusively draw girls. The easiest way to fuck up is going on your gut too much. It's easy for beginner artists such as I, to do a piece of art, fall asleep, wake up, and say the art's a piece of shit. I can't do the thingy where you do a rough sketch and make a t-shape on the face, but it is mandatory if you don't want to end up like a 2007 Deviantart weeaboo profile page.

As Leonadro da Vinci says, "Art imitates life." So don't be afraid to look at your hands irl when you draw em on the paper, grab inspo from people's outfits, and relentlessly be active.

Yes, I gathered pictures from the world god only knows manga that i liked and i copied them. they turned out better than anything i'd ever drawn before, which made me feel like I was actually learning for the first time.

The trick to copying is to use proportions to make sure everything is accurate. The more proportions the better.
What that means, is to make certain connections to confirm things are in the right spot. For example:
>x lines up with y over here.
>x is the same size as 1 1/3 of y,
>x is the same distance away from y as is z from c

This will help get rid of symbol drawing; drawing what you imagine something is supposed to look like versus what your eyes are actually telling you it looks like, which the sticky will explain if you don't understand.

Tbh I'd copy just because it's fun and it makes you feel like you're learning.

Our advice is virtually the same in that we recommend them inferring (you suggest correct perspective while I suggest correct rough shapes) while copying, of course he won't know all the little details.

Whatever makes you happy—you probably know way more than I do. To be honest, I'd copy just because it's fun and it makes you feel like you're learning.

Its a tiefling the size of a dwarf with the face of Gary Busey. He has big phat tiefling tendrils on his chin and and head with some rings pushed up onto them. On his forhead is a crooked (cursed) circlet that he tried to remove by casting eldritch blast on his forhead. It failed.
As for his weapons, he carries a fat tome under one arm and a 6foot stick with a lantern hanging from the top.
The robes are nice too, I like the ones in the ref. However feel free to change them.
