The thing about Austrian economics and the other schools, is it's like comparing apples to water buffaloes. They are different creatures entirely. However, because of this at times you can end up with completely opposite viewpoints like how Keynes views a longer production period being associated with a lower interest rate, and Mises views a longer production period being associated with a higher interest rate.

Those schools of thought are literally the opposite of each other on that point.

Irving Fisher is god-tier tbqh. Treats it like an actual science, has statistics to back it up. Deal with it, nerds.

I actually read Fischer, enjoy his work the most of the pre 1950s economists. Definetly has the most scientific, and i think correct view of how economics should be done.

Thats true Mises came before Hayek, but I think Mises had a more hardline view of Austrian economics, especially about things like math in economics.
