I'm so sick of this stupid meme. Everyone says Mozart could still be alive without explaining how I could possibly have lived this long.

>Mozart's Requiem Mass
>a song
There are several movements from the Requiem aeternam all the way through the Lacrimosa that he wrote. In my opinion they are among his finest choral works. It's hard to really say anything is the "most _____ ever" when it comes to music.
Good tastes though. Just realize that calling Mozart's requiem a "song" makes you sound like a pleb.
Why is mozart so boring?
>>2353208
The entire classic period was garbage. Literally just vacuous ballroom music written for aristocrats to dance to. Literally the kesha of classical music. The Canon should just go from Bach straight to Beethoven.
Hayden was alright though. He will be killed last.

You're an over-generalizing faggot. Don't you know Beethoven's early stuff was clearly still within the classical period?

His Organ Symphony is one of the greatest wors of art ever created but aside from that he's a distinctly second-tier composer. He gets unfairly praised because the French have no-one else of equal merit (well Debussy but he's arguably not a classical composer at all)

Mozart is the most overrated composer of all time.

Beethoven, Rossini, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Schoenberg... Didn't think Mozart was overrated. I'll take their opinion over yours.
So la da di da di

Dancing with Molly
Doing whatever we want
This is our house

And we can't stop
And we wont stop
Can't you see it's we who own the night?
Can't you see it we who bout that life
And we can't stop
And we wont stop
We run things, Things don't run we

DIES IRAE, DIES ILLA
Take me to church
I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies
I'll tell you my sins and you can sharpen your knife
Offer me that deathless death
Good God, let me give you my life
[x2]
Sail
This is how I show my love
I made it in my mind because
Blame it on my ADD baby
This is how an angel dies
Blame it on my own sick pride
Blame it on my ADD baby
Sail, sail
Sail, sail, sail
You look different every time you come
From the foam-crested brine
Your skin shining softly in the moonlight
Partly fish, partly porpoise, partly baby sperm whale
Am I yours? Are you mine to play with?
Joking apart - when you're drunk you're terrific when you're drunk
I like you mostly late at night you're quite alright
But I can't understand the different you in the morning
When it's time to play at being human for a while please smile!
You'll be different in the spring, I know
You're a seasonal beast like the starfish that drift in with the tide
So until your blood runs to meet the next full moon
Your madness fits in nicely with my own
Your lunacy fits neatly with my own, my very own
We're not alone

Ehh. True and untrue. Compare the developments in sonata movements of early Beethoven string quartets with the developments of Haydn or earlier Mozart string quartets and you can hear a very clear difference.
Also from a string writing perspective, even very early Beethoven is written in a much more Romantic style with more legato passages, less regular basslines in the cello parts, higher independence of parts, more focus on dynamic aspects, higher variance in texture, etc. compared to Mozart and Haydn.
>>2353267
You're being a faggot, but I can't say I don't lean towards agreeing with you. Bach and Beethoven being so more grand and insightful than anyone in between them is a hard thing to ignore.

Possibly the most boring composer ever, his compositions sound like they are from an old horror movie.
