Are there any backup links to cm3d2_h_85.zip? I downloaded the complete pack, the 1.51 update, the AIO pack and installed them in that order but the link for the last one is dead.

Extracted the files using sjisunzip and all file names are correct now, but I'm using the NTLEA shortcut to run the game (since I can't use Locale Emulator on the x64 shortcut the game creates). Would that be causing some issues?

I downloaded the complete torrent, the 1.51 update, and the sybaris AIO pack.

I ran the .bat file that came with the complete pack, then installed the 1.51 update, and finally installed the sybaris pack.

When I launch the game with CM3D2x64 all I get is a black screen. My computer is running in japanese locale.

I tried an untouched version of the complete torrent as well, and it also gives me a black screen.

I don't see a console or anything like I've seen other anons post with their issues, so I'm a little bit unsure on what to try to get the game working. Does anyone know what I could try?

I recommend opening the readme with notebook++ and translate the text with google.

You can run the plugin in maid edit or photo mode so you're awesomely flexible.

It's an issue with conflicting translation textures.
Are you using Sybaris? Either way, go into your UnityInjector folder, and look for a Textures folder and delete it. Should work just fine afterwards.

If that doesn't work, search your entire game folder for "cm3d2_tutorial_hirumenu00" or just "tutorial", and delete all the image files you find.

I'm updating from an old installation (Reipatcher etc) to using Sybaris after updating my game to the latest update, believe I had followed the instructions to remove the old stuff and moved all the mod files I had from Mod into Sybaris/GameData. At this point the game runs and I see my saves and such, but when I load my save, the menu has improper translation? Like, the button for Load for example says Manage Maids. What did I fuck up?

Downloaded the 1.50 torrent because I didn't want to fucking install all those updates and DLCs all over again when this the 4th time I'm trying to get back into this game but when trying to update the game to the newest version hardly ever worked for me. I think I got it to work once but I don't remember how I did it. Are you supposed to copy the new files in the data folder into the main installation folder? I think that's how I got it working before but when I try it now I'm getting errors.

This reply probably won't solve your problems directly, but as a person that just spent a lot of time getting my copy to work properly I will gladly warn you: A lot of the guides and info on getting CM3D2 installed post version 1.49 are outdated and inaccurate.

What you'll want to do is get the Sybaris Starter Pack and check the Hongfire mod forum for the English UI thread, the 7th or so page has the updated Atlas textures (which go in Sybaris/Plugins/UnityInjector/Config/Assets/Translation). This is important because the ones in the Starter Pack are outdated for the most recent game versions and your menu buttons will be fucked up.

The Translation stuff in the textures folder is apparently supposed to be moved to Sybaris/GameData (you can move the Textures folder there itself) until they fix the problem with TranslationPlus not being able to load arc textures.

You'll place any mods you downloaded that are NOT a UnityInjector patch or english translation (exception being textures mention above) inside Sybaris/GameData, folder structure doesn't really matter much. Any clothing or whatever will go there.

If you have done this setup correctly, running the game should work. If not, I'm sorry for potentially wasting your time.

My experience involved manual installation (game ISOs) with installing all the DLCs one at a time by hand (update.exe)

The uncensor I got from hongfire female uncensor, and pretty much any other uncensor, no longer works for my maids. Even tattoo ones that just paint one. The genital area is in a permanent state of invisible mosaic, and I'm not sure how to get rid of it. This wasn't always the case and it seems worse than base game censor since I can't even tattoo over it. Any suggestions? Gone through multiple skins, game ones and mods, but they are all blocked by invisible mosaic.

I installed the game and it came with some mods, don't know what since I'm a brainlet and this was made for brainlets. Did everything according to the readme and it worked just fine until I patched it and installed the mods. After I ran Reipatcher I got several errors in game and I get this weird purple shit. Can anyone help me out? What did I fuck up or how can I solve it? Tells me I'm missing stuff like hair and body or something.

I remember playing this a while back and I think only the innocent was translated, but there were some people who translated the yandere and oneechan, even though they weren't perfect. Fortunately for you it's being very literal in the error messages. It's possible you are having issues with system locale, since the preset filenames are in kanji. Make sure you have your system locale set to Japanese OR you are using one of the many applications that let you run programs in a different locale (ie: AppLocale). If that isn't the problem then it may be a file permissions problem, such as the containing folder being set to Read Only maybe? Past that, I'm not too sure, sorry

The folders titled SaveData and Presets for the first two should be enough for those. As for mods, it depends on what sort of installation you had. If you were running ReiPatcher/UnityInjector (older setup) then you'd want to save the Mod folder. If you are on a newer setup with Sybaris, you want to save the Sybaris folder (specifically Sybaris/GameData which is where you placed your mods).

I do not know if it saves data elsewhere for presets, so I apologize ahead of time if that isn't enough for those, but I had no issues with copying my save data over personally with just the SaveData folder

Is there a way to get the pre-installed 1.50 torrent working with a 32bit .exe so I can attach it to ITHVNR? I downloaded the pre-installed torrent, updated to 1.51 using the 32bit version and everything works fine. The problem is when I then install sybaris AIO to try to play with mods, the x86.exe then doesn't launch and plays an error sound without providing any error message.

I can get sybaris working on a clean version of the 1.50 torrent, but that would mean I wouldn't be able to hook the in game dialogue using ITHVNR. I know that there are translation mods out there, but I was really hoping to play this with ITHVNR (or any other text hooker for that matter) which requires a 32 bit version.

I've been using the x86 dll which is what seems to be causing the error.

If I use the x64 dll then both versions run fine but the x86.exe doesn't load sybaris. If I use the x86 dll then the x86.exe just doesn't launch. This is using only Sybaris AIO from the pastebin in the OP with nothing else if that's of any help.

I'm assuming the large torrent still is using the ReiPatcher+UnityInjector methods, or the batch you're talking about is something completely different from the one I'm thinking of (the ReiPatcher bat files to run the game).

I'm guessing you are aiming to run the newer versions of the game (v1.49+), which means you'll want to use Sybaris instead, as HF Patch hasn't been updated in a while, and Sybaris incorporates ReiPatcher/UnityInjector functionality without modifying base game files.

Unfortunately I did not use the large torrent when setting up my copy of the game (I used the manual pain in the ass method of mounting the game disc ISOs and installing all the DLC by hand), so I don't know what sort of situation your files are 'out of the box'.

The general order I followed was such though:

-With a clean installation, install the DLCs, then update v1.0 to v1.12, followed by the v1.51 update (or whatever new version you want to use).

-Install the Sybaris Starter Pack (found in OP), really easy, just drop the Sybaris folder into the main game folder, along with whatever dll matches your installation (32/64 bit).

-Find the latest Atlas files for the UI translation (from the Hongfire English UI thread, sorry you'll have to dig for this one yourself, the files are scattered around the 7th or so page of the thread) and replace the ones you have with the new ones (Sybaris/Plugins/UnityInjector/Config/Assets/Translation). For clarification, the ones in the Starter Pack are outdated for the newer game versions and are causing problems that some of the people here are reporting, like the new game tutorial image crash and such.

-Place the mods you want to use into Sybaris/GameData, folder structure isn't very important apparently

-Run the normal game EXE, no bat files or anything necessary. You should be good at this point if you did everything correctly

The problem is that most of the fixes and shit we have to work with right now are made by random people who step up after the original creators of the original methods and patches have abandoned their posts so to speak. It's a clusterfuck because as the game devs keep releasing new content and updates, the modders get bored and leave, resulting in what you see now. Most of the aforementioned random contributors are either too lazy or do not have access to the resources involved in doing more than just dumping the files online.

Then again, I can't say I've experienced any situation modding a game that hasn't had a few roadblocks along the way. Such is the price we pay for having nicer things.

Can someone help me, I don't know much about computers and programs.

I just installed this game again after a format, and I decided, I've had a lot of trouble getting this game to work in the past, thought I'd install it, ensure the game runs with the latest update, and then make a copy, incase shit breaks, I can fall back to it without having to re-install the whole game all over again.

So to get it to run on win10 x64 I got a batch fix from hongfire which allows me to run the game.

But after I copied it, it doesn't work
they are both still mod and plugin free, but I can only run the "backup" which is the original.

That's what I mean though bro. Obviously people have made torrents, but no one keeps this shit updated. Sybaris only more recently became a thing people were using, and newer updates of the game keep breaking shit that people who no longer care about the game haven't updated in months.

The torrent you are using didn't come with Sybaris because it was likely put together when ReiPatcher+UnityInjector was still a given. Until someone makes an updated torrent, this is how things are.

Anyways, the initial problem you were having sounds similar to things happening to me when I first was trying to put Sybaris into my older installation. I opted for the autistic approach and made a clean install with game ISOs and manual DLC installation. I have no idea what plugins this torrent you are using has, but you'll probably need to make sure they're placed in the right folders for Sybaris. Take everything out of the Mod folder and move it over to Sybaris/GameData for example, follow the rest of the Sybaris installation instructions closely (specifically the AIO readme where it talks about installing into an installation that previously contained ReiPatcher + UnityInjector). The scrambled menu buttons I've mentioned numerous times in prior posts I've made, I know for a fact is the fault of outdated Atlas textures that come with the Starter Pack.

There's two sides to this.

For one, people do make all in one packages and have been making them. However, as new content is added the packages become outdated and not everyone is able to sacrifice more free time to continue to update them.

Everyone in the Custom Maid 3D 2 community has issues getting the game to work. Even veteran players find themselves having to reinstall after a particularly taxing patch. Some things can be fixed easily, while others have even taken months to solve.

The second part is that no matter how idiot proof you try to make a package people will still find novel ways to break it(the most common of all being people thinking they can just use a locale emulator.)

I suppose the third issue is that if there's a torrent that has all of the necessary English translations installed it would then become obsolete as soon as an update is released that modifies the game's .tex files. When the game stops being updated we'll probably see more All-in-One torrents with English translations already installed. As it stands now torrents with the base game that you can just apply separate downloads to are far more resilient. Custom Maid 3D 1 does have packages that are every update + translation files.

I'm after the nun outfit to use it as a model template, but I can't find it anywhere for standalone download and I've got too many mods to stand a chance of searching for it.

Anyone know how to stop the wideslider mod being reset everytime I load up the game and sometimes even after leaving the editor? Running sybaris and the latest 1.5 something patch that is somewhat working.
