Please I need help. I downloaded the game from the OP and strictly followed this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Er5RwtG3gs4 the only part I skipped is the uncensed mod because for now I don't need it.

Problem is, when I try to open the game with InitSetting it crashes. Do I HAVE to install the uncensored mod or did the tutorial skipped something important?

For me it's switching between IK and FK. When mirroring the IK pose to FK pose, the alignments of the joints move ever so slightly causing my pose to be misaligned. Plus I can't seem to find a way to hide the IK/FK nodes so my screen doesn't look so cluttered.

But there are some nice stuff too like the ease of moving stuff on strictly one axis (but it would be nicer if we can move stuff on two axes and lock the third, like in original studio)

I downloaded the old full DLC MODIFIED BACKUP BUNDLE from the other day and everything works except IPA.

Is the studio quality supposed to be less than the main game/character creator.

I feel like the models/textures look pretty good in the CC but things look a lot rougher in the the studio.

Then again most peoples "good" looking studio creations are super close ups with no background in poor lighting so its really hard to compare... I dont even know what Im asking anymore.

What did you edit so your background and clothes are not so gray colored ?

I'm just trying to play fullscreen/change my resolution. Did a clean install, followed instructions, did a backup install, followed instructions, spent all day trying to figure this out. Game runs fine, initsetting.exe does not, I get some error message. There is no setup.xml folder under userdata either, so I cant change it from there, someone please help.

Depends, not all of the lines are subtitled but if you got some of the things in the game translated from the translation package in the pastebin you might be 23.6% retarded if only the Hscenes didn't get translated.

Which exe you launching the game from? If you have mods that require IPA you need to drag your starting exe over that to patch it, or if you are running wideslider run that once first.

If you are really having trouble, its a pain in the ass but its what I did.

Download and install one at a time
Once you are done with the whole list, make a copy of the game and put it in another location so you have a complete, clean back up.

Apply uncensor, then apply translation and see if your game is translated. If it IS translated, then copy over your backup with the current game and THEN start installing any mods you want.

You dont have to save over your back up every time you install a mod but you definitely a lately working copy in reserve in case you fuck something up so you dont have to start from square one.

I'm saying start over from scratch because if you've just been copying files like a madman things are probably fucked at this point.

And I'm saying copy the base game somewhere else on your hard drive once you get it installed so if you fuck up again you don't have to install it from scratch again.

And then follow the guides for uncensor and translation, theres even a video guide if necessary.

Material inside UITranslation.v0.16.0-HoneySelect goes inside the main install directory
Material inside HoneySelect_Hongfire_Translation_rc goes in your plugins folder
Material inside Machine_Translation_04_29_2017_12_55 goes inside the main install directory

I'd copy my abdata folder and userdata folder and then you'll have all the clothing/item related mods and your characters and shit.

I would not try and salvage wideslider, 4k textures, or anything not in those 2 folders because they are likely culprits of interfering with your translation.

Copy your abdata and userdata to a safe spot, or hell you dont even have to nuke this install you could just do a fresh install somewhere else and then copy your abdata and userdata and then start trying to install the translation. Its not like the game is huge and it doesnt care how many times you install it as long as you dont get confused.

no one can really tell you but from a technical perspective the second one is inferior.

The reason?

>blown out contrast (this will also fuck you in the ass)

While the first one isnt as vibrant it is more flexible in what can be achieved with lighting since there is more color/contrast depth. In the second pic for example, I cant even see where her arm and torso begin -- they appear to be blended together. Giant black spot.

The only scenario where the second pic will be better is the ones like the pic you just took. You'll have a harder time trying to do variety of scenes in comparison to the top one which has more wiggle room.

First pick girl number one, then that lets you pick girl number two

Once you've had H a few times with one girl, after picking her in the menu where you choose a map there should be a button that says Select Girl Room 2 or something along those lines. Click that and pick the 2nd girl. Start the H scene like you normally would. The place where you normally pick animations should have a buttOn that says 3some.

It would have been better if he posted the default curve, preset_3, and the second all in one pic. If you compare all three of them you'll see that both of these are bad. The second one has all the points you made, but the first half is just as bad. If you compare it to the default curve it literally saturates the entire game by about 30%, and it looks like most of the shading effects were turned off. It also completely fucks over dark skinned girls by making their darker brown skin appear more grey and washed out.

i am kinda struggling with the lightening on this scene, i am trying to make it look like nighttime and with police lights in the back ground. when i use red and blue light it mixes the color and looks abit off. does anybody have any suggestions??
