I just did the smartest thing ever (upgraded my hybrid):

So I was previously a hybrid only user.
>wanted to upgrade, but was lazy af
>Installed a second copy of hs by getting the fully updated game in the pastebin
>made sure it worked stock (with my choice of plugins)

>fucking *copied* EVERYTHING over to my old install (remember, my corrected IDs are still in here).
>realized the patched exes would still only point to the clean HSPARTY install.
>fucking copied everything in the newly updated game folders with my old files (IDs, etc, mods) BACK to the clean install.
>I did not copy the plugin & studio folders over as that wouldve fucked me.
>Everything worked.

And guess what? I dont have any conflicts because my old install list files were still there. Guess what? My fucking mods are all there. Dont have to redownload them. Guess what? MY cards are all there. Guess what? I am now fully updated with EVERYTHING and enjoying the new studio. Wow this makes a lot of plugins irrelevant.

I even reinstalled 2.0-2.2b-2.3 in that order and it didn't work in NEO. Still works in the regular studio though. Tried 32 and 64 bit if that helps. Dunno what's going on. I have pretty much the whole DLC installed where the main menu is that new room and it says 1.20 in the top right corner. Dunno what's going on since everything else works fine. For a first try, it's not that bad, but far from good.
Use more detailed texture (13 - 22), it help a lot to make natural face, not only because it's more natural, but also because you can see what part of the face is uncanny.

Anyone got knowledge of importing custom items into the studio?

I've made my items, I can import them, but I just get a pink model in the right shape with no texture.

I don't really understand because in SB3U I can see the models and textures, it looks perfect like everything is ready to go, but when I put it in with HiR... no texture.

I feel like im missing a step somewhere, but all the tutorials start with a duplicate of some already existing HS item and just build off that, but im not just modifying some existing items.

My only though is its something with the assetbundle but when I look at imported items that work like GILs stuff it just has the assetbundle at studio/itemobj/honey/_test01.unity3d and that path doesn't even lead to anything...

A hybrid install is just moving the abdata folders from the DLC and not overwriting anything (you just want the new stuff). It won't give you the new animations or the updated character maker, nor will v1.2 cards work for you. It's not all smiles

Is there any way to adjust the neck in the IK poser? Whenever I turn on the FK poser after posing with IK, the pose is slightly adjusted and as a result is improperly positioned. It's frustrating because FK poser doesn't jack up the pose whenever I'm using a pre-set pose.

Yeah when I do "mirror to ik/fk" the pose still jacks up slightly causing me to do fine adjustments in fk which is really a hassle.

It's from the new DLC everyone's been fiddling with the last week. I'm still on a hybrid build because I'm still waiting on an all encompassing patch that does a complete installation for me. That and there are still things that you can only still do in Studio classic.

Well i would not call it a mistake, in fact you don't really have to go with a realistic look unless you like it better.

You can definitely make girls that look like blade and soul characters with honey select, it's just really hard to get the features right, specially the eyes, but I've seen some really good cards in that style and they make my dick go diamonds.

And blade and soul characters aren't really anime style characters either. Stylized, sure, but still aren't considered anime. For starters, the 3D models looked quite different from their 2D animeish concept art. You can certainly make a really good 3D interpretation of a 2D character, but it's usually an exercise in failure with the limited capability of HS editor.
