Working on it, not looked into a lot of the HS UI code yet, would we be happy with some shitty hotkey while in editor or is having some button essential?
As of right now everything's hardcoded. I'm gonna try allow for variable resolutions and, if I understand this code correctly, qualities of render setting.
This means that it'll take a bit.

Extract and drop into your HoneySelect folder.
It will overwrite your UserData/ModPrefs.ini, so if you want to retain that then simply append the contents of the provided ModPrefs.ini instead of overwriting.
Option to change is [pngSave] => RENDERRATE.
Default value is 1.0, but I've set it to 2.5 to demonstrate the effect.
The calculation for output resolution is 252x352 * RENDERRATE.

So, I installed a bunch of mods, and now all my girls have ghostly pale white skin no matter what.

How do I unfuck game? I tried reinstalling but I got a bunch of moon rune errors and nothing's fixed.

Find the original files and overwrite the new ones. (or delete everything and redownload original game)

Delete any new files(mods) that can't be overwritten/copy them to a separate folder on your computer.

Reinstall the mods one at a time (with the original game backed up) to see which one is the culprit.

Hard cap removed. The algorithm did some weird stuff, so I replaced it. The pixel-by-pixel result is probably cropped slightly differently, but as shown by that Says, it renders to any size and forces anti-aliasing.
Actual testing will need to be performed by you lot, just because it works for me doesn't mean it will work for you.

Gonna look into this one. Shaders exist for changing HSV at runtime, but getting the shader into a runtime environment without unity is a pain.

- torrent base honeyselect, link to the nyaa torrent is in the pastebin, once DL done mount iso 1, install, when setup requests, unmount iso 1 and mount iso 2, once finished you should have the regular game unmodded and installed
- get "All Inclusive Game Update 9/9-9/30" from the pastebin, misleading name but this includes all DLC and updates. if the FileCopy program doesn't work then just copy files to match folder structure and it should be okay
- get translation loader, text translations, and image translations from the pastebin, drop them into the folder in the same way as the all inclusive, and you should have a fully updated, translated honeyselect ready for mods

But I have. As of 4 minutes ago, I have done this 27 times. The folders that the UI translation zip file contains ALL match the original folder structure: 2 HoneySelect folders, 2 HoneyStudio folders, a single plugin folder. You said not to put them in the base install folder, but where the fuck else CAN they go? They have the exact same names of folders in the base install folder.

bear with me, it's hard to give technical help over 4chan and it's trial and error when it comes to these nip programs unless you know nip.
so you've merged all of the folders, and your character maker/main game menus are still in moonrunes, right? is the studio still in japanese too? some people on the hongfire forum have similar issues to you, so maybe you can check out the all in one english translation thread in the honeyselect mods forum on hongfire. you'll know its working if your options menu, H-scene UI, character maker UI, stuff like that is in english, the actual dialogue as far as I know has not been translated much at all. i wish i could help more but when it "just works" for me i don't really know of any solution to offer. you could try asking /hgg/ on /vg/ but you're most likely to get shit response

Hongfire and other sites are playing ping "this belongs in mod discussion" pong "this belongs in game discussion" and I gave up after 30 minutes of seeing other people being completely ignored. This is fucking bizarre, they've usually way more on the ball with that shit.

Now I've well and truly brute-forced it by copying and pasting the translation recursively in every single folder and guess what? 5% main menu translation ("Are you sure you want to X" messages are in English) and 2% character maker translation (category names are English, all but 3 of them, but the actual editing slides and values are still runic).

It's progress, I suppose. But I still can't use the maker like this.

Have you tried deleting the Text folder in both the Select and Studio translation folders, and then replacing them? It says on the pastebin that overwriting them won't work, you gotta delete and replace.

So uh, got a little sidetracked, ended up not touching on the hue related stuff at all.
Instead a new mod that allows you to mix and match a character's regular clothing and swimsuit clothing options, pic related.
100% user unfriendly atm, currently fucking around trying to get the rendering and configuration to play nice.
Turns out Illusion fetches and displays different meshes for each clothing state, but so far as even different meshes for regular/swimsuit.
And interest in this?

In developing this shit I hit so many damn bugs and runtime anomalies that I developed a solution to cut down on debugging time, I'll get that uploaded at some point too. Basically binds source code to a hotkey to load it (wayyyy faster than relaunching the game and entering a scene every time).
It stopped being a study of the code base and ended up becoming this reverse engineering challenge. Surprisingly the code can be sensibly wrangled to do a lot, and unsensibly coaxed to do the rest.

Still hoping someone gets this stuff uploaded to some forum for better accessibility, but I'll get around to that (eventually) if nobody steps forward.
