My game is running now and I used the installer. Basically I extracted both discs and merged the folders inside them and then ran the installer (though I guess I didn't have to from what you're saying). The error I had earlier was the files missing from the second disc.

if you enjoy the character creation thing, by all means, keep trying. I'm pretty sure you can rely on intuition to figure out what needs to be done, but getting it to look exactly the way you want using that system of sliders isn't nearly as easy as it looks like, and the face is 100x harder than the body. but in this case, pratice (and mods) does make perfect. let me tell you, I played sexy beach premium resort (which has the exact same character creation system,) a few months ago. my girls in that game, which I thought looked gorgeous, look like abortions compared to what I'm able to do in HS now

personally I've spent 90% of the time in this game doing the character creation thing and the rest fapping, I've only gone to the studio to fap to the dance animations

if on the other hand you want to do studio stuff it might be better to stick to downloading cards, both character creation and studio take a fuckton of time

I'm glad to hear you're into it and would love to see your final results. just keep in mind the most important thing is harmony between the proportions and positions of all the facial features, but most importantly eyes, pupils, nose, mouth, eyebrows, face shape and overall face size to head size. by harmony, I don't mean perfect mathematical golden ratio shit, I mean something that pleases your brain when you look at it from all directions and in any day of the week, circumstance and mood.

since you're after a chubby face, I suggest skipping the drawing books and look at lots pictures of chubby women from all angles or drawings with enough facial details (even hentai). but not for the purpose of simply copying a face (though you can do that too). what you want is to get as much familiarity with the the kind of face you want and let your intuition do the rest. humans have an incredibly powerful ability to recognise pretty faces and defects in faces but it's all intuitive.

-gone through all sliders first, overall face breadth was notably small, found out why mouth and nose are so close together, man those lips are really fat from the front but not so much from the side
-will try to make face wider and cheeks fatter without messing with shapes of eyes, nose, won't touch eyebrows

-set overall face breadth to default 50
-make cheeks fatter, lower cheek lower, set jaw width to default (it seems anon used jaw width as cheeks)
-change face texture to A7 to enhance cheeks without changing other stuff much
-increase lower face depth to make cheeks look fatter from the side without having to mess with other sliders
-have to decrease upper cheek depth and increase eye depth to compensate anyway
-set lower face width to 100 anyway because fucking face type B
-reset and rearrange eye, nose and mouth heights
-changed nose angle, bridge stuff and increased size a bit to get rid of nose looking too small from side
-made mouth wider
-add eye shadow 1 with 0,0,0 colour and 20 transparency to compensate lost makeup from face change
-change lipstick colours a bit for the same reason as above

The characters usually have a favorite pace that changes as they get more excited.
Just scroll to find the heart and stay there.
Some characters might have two favorite paces for the same stage of a position (horny girls won't mind if you get rough right from the start, for instance)
