Video bit rate for 720p shouldn't be more than 2000 kbps. For 480p it should be around 1300kbps. Anything more is placebo. Also, if you prefer CRF, try 22.


Also as for codec, use h264 codec. HandBrake is popular program. ffmpeg if you want to go to the command line method.

While there's room on my palette for good old-fashioned fap-to-the-beat, I confess a soft spot for those that establish a mood. Yours are consistently good at doing just that, and I always perk up a bit when you've got something new coming out of the oven.

I use sony vegas 12. (cracked copy)

Vegas dpesn't like mkvs, so if the file is mkv, I simply use ffmpeg to make it into a mp4.

Download ffmpeg, then run the file through in copy mode.

for ex, ffmpeg -i file.mkv -c:v copy -c:a copy -file.mp4

and adding your own tricks to it.

Finally when you do the "render as", change the bit rate on the bottom to 1500k-2500k (540p vs 720p) for the max bit rate and 1300k to 2000k for the average bit rate.

Actually now that I think about it, the biggest contributor is probably fewer HMVs using 3D hentai. Traditional animation compresses way better and is animated on 2s and 3s, hentai anime is sometimes even 4s.

That's the reason these threads exist, to put content from creators that are part of our 4chan community. It wouldn't be a problem for us to just go to pornhub ourselves and look for the one's your posting there, but as it stands, there is literally no point in doing that.

I'm from another editing community. HMVs seem pretty new from what I can tell.
So uh, is this just for fapping, or what's the point of these? In a lot of other communities most of the entertainment value comes from the editing and flow of the videos.
What's the deal here? I'm genuinely curious, not trying to shit on anyone.

For me, the primary draw of HMVs isn't the music. It's that they're hentai anime without the bullshit.

HMVs allow you to combine multiple sex scenes while also omitting the story and most of the foreplay (some foreplay is good, too much is bad). I'm also of the opinion that hentai audio is almost always bad.

The music just facilitates all the changes that I like. It shortens the 25 minutes to the 5 minutes that I care about. It naturally encourages good pacing, as a lot of music has a distinct introduction, rising action, and climax. And it replaces audio I don't like with something that's (at the very least) tolerable.

Any of you prefer hentai to actual people porn? If so, then why?

Since it's your first, I'll lay everything out as I've discovered myself.

If your using iMovie, I would suggest finding a better video editing tool, before switching to Vegas, I used VideoPad, it's 30$ and has everything vegas has, except the pretty UI.

A 12 second intro is too long. I've been yelled at many times for my 6 second 'Well... it's the big show' title entrance. If you want ample credit time to name yourself, no one really minds long outro's too much!

Your added sound effects really took away from the video, from 0:27 onward, it didn't need the extra sound bits. (The first 'lets get this started' at 0:24 was complimentary though!) If adding the original audio gets you off, try and keep it secluded to parts of the song where it would fit. (Usually during intro, outro, and rests in the song)

0:33-0:46 was painful to watch. I get you were going with the 'I just got slapped, and I'm shocked' but that could have been shorted to 5 seconds.

I could keep going,but after those bullet points, its more about cutscenes and smoothness which come in time. Really recommend a better editing platform though!

If you are, if your question is on the video timeline tracks, I needed atleast 2 different tracks. (because I'm lazy) The original first 2 episodes of Hastu Inu were released with 'black bar borders' so I set one of the tracks to 'zoom' in on the video to lazily get rid of them. I then secluded the other track to the last 2 episodes. The other 2 that were added in after were just because I get messy with editing!

If your talking project media files in Ideal of HMV- there was 4 episodes of Hatsu Inu, as well as vegas creates a new media file when you reverse a video, creating the 8 that were in total at the end.

If your talking between the 3 I linked... their different HMV's...

Outro credits are always better than intro ones, but even then I don't really see the point of a long credits sequence. Hey just as a suggestion perhaps editors can use more actual anime titles in the mix. There has been soooo much fan service hentai in the past few years, and allot of it is really hot.

Steammonkey made an HMV made with about 90 percent all fanservice anime and its actually one of my favorite works. Editors can either make full HMVs out of fan service or just clips to supplement HMVs.

I rendered in 8Mbs HD1080-30p video.

Random thought struck me while I was watching what I think is a relatively new HMV, titled On Top.

It's not a big deal when clips are four beats (2-3 seconds), though I do think eight beats is almost always better. What sucks is when it feels like a clip has been cut short. The best example would be clips where the shot pans from, say, the girl's waist to her face. If it stops before the camera reaches her face, it feels like a tiny blueballing.

The exe extracts wmv files into your temp folder (C:/users/<username>/temp/<something>), and they stay there while the exe is running, so you should be able to just copy them from there.
