I've never watched this at all, but generally I feel that when watching something that's naturally Japanese and subbed, the voices give better emotion since they're not so constricted to the translations to English.

TL;DR: I'd rather hear the emotion from the voice and read subs than hear English dubs be monotone and lifeless.
