there seems to be a bunch of benchmarks out there but I find nothing answers this question like just asking an honest opinion from someone who has one and not just reviewing one.

I just want to know if word processing and web browsing away from an outlet is going to be a problem.

Its a bagpack.

With a free wallet.

The wallet is very nice, the bagpack on the otherhand has too many pockets wich is a good thing, is water resistan/proofish and very well made by looking at it.

I already loaded it with a shit ton things i carry around on my messengers bag that was failing apart after 9 years.

It came with both the usb hub for charging capabilities and an usb type c cord that also works for data.

Feels bad becuase the shipping took years (ordered in first of june) so aliexpress returned me the money last month.

So earlier today the right headphone of my pair of ZS5s commited seppuku and stopped playing mids. So I decided "fuck it, let's see if the zircons work again". Magic happens: the zircons started to work again. But I'm still fucked, as I prefer the slightly less emphasized bass of the ZS5s.
Will make a complaint to chinkbest and hope for the best.

1, 2, Vengance or Ascend? Ascend is still somewhat alive. 1 and 2 are only organized games usually. I have been playing a lot of Midair as of recently, it's a lot like Tribes and just came to Early Access. (But it's too expensive, you can get it for 5-10€ at CD key resellers like Kinguin)

The GK2 has a mic in the keyboard and the software apparently sends info to Alibaba.
There's a review that mentions it.

You can rip the mic and not use the software to customize your keyboards.

Use an agent to ship for you. Superbuy is the most commonly used. Paste the item link into their site and then purchase it through them, they'll buy it for you and have it shipped to their warehouse. They'll then send you some pictures of the items for you to check, you can ask them to show logos or measurements to be sure. Then when you have everything together in the warehouse they'll reship it to you. It's only really worth it when you're getting at least 6 or 7 items as they charge a minimum price for a 2kg box.

Anyone who has followed this general for a while knows that RegularOP knows a mod and has him do his bidding.

That is why RegularOP doesn't get banned for referral links, advertising, promoting monetised YouTube channels, etc. In threads where 20-30 posts would get deleted RegularOP's wouldn't.

Some anons have a theory that RegularOP is several people, including a mod. Comfy went from 0 subs for his stupid bird videos to nearly 700. And if you think he's not making money off of you stupid faggots think again.

I don't even go to this general any more. I just checked it for shits and giggles and surprise surprise more RegularOP drama. Mods allowed some autist to literally own a general on a 4chan board. Which other board has this kind of shit?

This is an anonymous imageboard where tripfags are looked down upon. Except you poor fuckers here worship a tripfag in a thread made for making buying dollar shit from China easier.

I do have a somewhat poor sense of how much I slept over a week since I can't sleep at regular intervals, this actually helps with tracking sleep a good bit.

Also, use as a watch and fun enough statistics on how much I walked / ran. The last doesn't really serve any important purpose, though.
>>
>>62323446
I don't know if it's a mic or just a sensor and I'm just going by what the guy on the video said.
There's no specification about it besides that one single line in that image which simply implies there's a sensor. According to the video, there's nothing written on the box about it either, and you add that to the Alibaba IP and everything becomes really fishy.

>>62323478
Shouldn't be hard, but you need to keep an eye to see if nothing changes if there's a software update or anything.
Anyway, it does seem like a nice keyboard for the price, and if you want to be sure you won't be part of the chink botnet, you could go with the GK1 and not use their software (or grab the GK2 and strip the mic)

Their older tablets should be relatively cheap and certainly fast enough for reading and some web browsing.

But other brands released faster tablets meanwhile (I think Xiaomi released only... two? of them so far, and none very recently). You could get something more recent.

Or you might also be able to use an even cheaper one, with your low requirements.

I'd suggest you kinda just filter your way around geekbuying, gearbest, banggood and ali (and anywhere else you care to look) & maybe run candidates by us here for a quick check.

You probably won't need more than $150 from what I heard so far. Quite possibly you can do with under $100.

This will be harder to establish with the myriad ways in which pdf can be bloated and generally suffering of Adobe-tier utter shit performance, even partly due to the document format itself that allows all kinds of insanity.

To me those seem like ~ the same if not lower specs that iLife v5 and other random chinkbots already had 1-2 years ago. And I figure once you add shipping costs from a forwarder, the costs will also be pretty close.

Apart from that, 1000pa is pretty shit vs the Xiaomi's 1800pa which I personally consider "just sufficient" & not having lidar & a robot that plans its pathing is just a bad idea, even a mid-sized room with a few dozen obstacles is a bit of a challenge then, never mind a whole apartment.

You can learn a good bunch on a very cheap keyboard with no pressure sensitivity ($25 or so on Ali or whatever - note that the vast majority of these will have much narrower keys).

But getting an actually good simulation of key and foot pedal presses pretty much requires spending about $1k on a Casio or something. Which is cheap and compact as compared to a nice piano PLUS also more versatile at producing music, but still...
>>
>>62326883
Well, a $250 Xiaomi Robot is as good as a $1000 Roomba and a $90 Chinese carbon tripod can be $350+ if not Chinese.

But unlike for the various Xiaomeme etc. gear that is actually competitive pretty much to the high end or very close, there are just not very many midrange to high end Chinese lenses.

The remaining few higher end Chinese lenses are pretty special compromises and tend to be almost as pricey as other such lenses, like the f/0.95 but pretty unsharp no AF Mitakons for $700+, or the ultrawide rectilinear 12mm Venus for $900+.

>>
>>62327214
Don't buy good pairs of IEMs. You should actually be investing in a soldering iron since no matter how expensive an IEM you buy, the wire is going to break and you need to be able to fix it by splicing wires.

>>
>>62327214
There are thousands of Chink IEM - but a bunch of them are pretty rugged (kevlar braided cables, larger strain reliefs and what not) and/or have pluggable cables that you could replace separately.

And then there's also the option to have certain bluetooth IEM that have no or pretty-safe-against-pulling cables.
>>
>>62327242
I've saved hundreds of dollars by fixing headphones. You can't save them all, and they can be a little tricky sometimes, but for the price of a cheap soldering iron you can save quite a few.
I'm using Zircons and I like them. They're quite bassy, but that is just what I like. They are great still, they don't sacrifice treble to get the bass, it's just biased to the bass. Neutral sounding headphones like the KZ ATE-S actually sound kinda unpleasant to me.

Hybrids or zircons are both good. For the price they're both excellent, but you should pick based on what kind of sound you like.

It's just a few thin wires. A 5$ USB soldering iron will work too.
>>
>>62327329
There are some stations that cost as much, but they also have a hot air gun and stuff.

I promise you the cheaper temperature controlled irons already do basically all you need to do for the vast majority of cables and even typical larger DIY electronic components (those that arent fully intended to be reflow soldered on a super tight board and all that).

[Not that hot air guns necessarily cost that much, but it's just all fancy shit.]

>>62327346
Yea, I guess. Then again, with $5 irons you do run a far bigger risk that you get an iron that is constructed so badly that it shorts or conducts power from mains through the appliance you're soldering or what not, plus it'll probably be too temperature unstable and quite possibly not even have a Hakko 800M type soldering iron tip (typical Chinese iron standard, but sometimes not found on the cheapest ones).

Ah, and they probably either won't solder the more exotic lead-free solder or be usually too hot.
>>
>>62327420
>power from mains
From where? A disconnected headphone? The USB power supply?
>not even have a Hakko 800M type soldering iron tip
Yeah they don't have that
>be usually too hot.
They're like 8-10W. It's hard to do much damage with them.
>>
>>62327420
Ah, and I guess if it's an USB soldering iron that's a bit safer, but yea, those then never have a comfy 800M type of tip 'cause 8W probably would take minutes to warm that up and then struggle to keep it warm enough or something.

But I guess they'd be an alternative for this task... yea.

>>
>>62327455
>They're like 8-10W. It's hard to do much damage with them.

It's actually easier to overheat the work if you don't have decent power. Seems counter-intuitive but that heat rapidly bleeds away from the leads/pads into wires. traces or nearby components. You can end up lifting traces, melting cladding down a wire or killing parts inadvertently by holding the heat on it too long trying to flow the solder. You want to be able to heat the joint quickly, get the solder flowed and then remove the heat asap. Minimize the total energy deposited into shit you don't want melted.
Also if you don't have temperature control and the design is too chinky the iron might not balance out at a safe temperature naturally and end up turning cherry red after a while, even if it's a very low wattage.

Very easy to avoid by not pressing your iron on the pad for a long time.
You can't do that with those crappy main powered 40W irons where a second is enough to burn off a pad.

>>
>>62327643
>Very easy to avoid by not pressing your iron on the pad for a long time.
And if the solder doesn't want to flow then you simply don't get the work done without something with more punch.

>You can't do that with those crappy main powered 40W irons where a second is enough to burn off a pad.
If that happens to you it'll be because the tip on a 40W iron would be much beefier than the micropencil on a USB one, and without temp control it gets too hot to boot. A good whack of thermal energy there that then dumps straight into the pad on contact.
Hence why temp control to go with your power is so worth.

Has anybody found the foldable wayfarer? I was actually going to buy them for real but then realized the amount of jewery on the sunglasses market
>>
Hi, broken ZS5 anon here. Gearbest sent me a response much faster than I thought and gave me 3 choices: refund in good boy cash, refund in paypal and sending them back for replacement (impossible to do as the post offices here are fucked for the foreseeable future). I think I'll just get the PayPal refund, even if I'll end up buying the same pair of headphones from the same store (h-how much bad luck can I have, RIGHT?!?).
>>
>>62327740
>And if the solder doesn't want to flow then you simply don't get the work done without something with more punch.
Yeah. But for thin headphone cables it should have enough punch. If it wont' flow in a few seconds, clean the tip, flow fresh solder on it, flux the contacts, etc.

>Hence why temp control to go with your power is so worth.
Yeah definitely. I started out with a cheap dumb main powered iron.
And it took a lot of practice to not be very destructive with it. And even then it would toast my shit occasionally.

>>62327761
That should be covered in every Soldering 101.
>>
>>62327779
On dhgate from aooko or whatever he's called.
>>
>>62327779
ray ban is a luxottica product, and they are serious jews
they've implemented MAP pricing so retailers can't undercut (publicly) which keeps the prices artificially high
source: I've worked in the industry
>>
>>62327745
> that one is ass
It's as specified by uni-t and nice and compact.

It'll do basically any job the other multimeter can do, seeing how that also doesn't really do data logging or other fancy things.
>>
>>62327907
I just want the 54mm foldable wayfarer because I have a enormous head and want to fold them away in my back pack
>>
>>62327745
>the one i linked has silicon leads
No, I got the one you linked. It has PVC leads.
>>
>>62327866
I cant find the foldable ones.
>>
Is it a bad idea to use gearbest if you cant use a paypal account? I could use CC one off through paypal, but cant create account, so I dont think I can dispute

wholesale price is around $150 lel
>>
>>62328014
For the real deal you mean? I live in europe so the price might be bit higher.
>>
>>62328070
That's what the retail stores pay for them, so if they are for sale for less than that they're either fake or selling at a loss
they'll also get shut down by Luxottica because they're not allowed to be sold that low
>>
>>62327993
Eh, why not.

Also, why couldn't you create an account with GB? It's pretty damn simple.
>>
>>62328066
That looks cool to you? I think it's passable, maybe.

And people pay $150+ for these? Ouch.

Anyone have and experience with Nillkin or Mofi phone cases?
They seem to have good reviews so I ordered one of each for my Honor 6x.
They decent?

and the foldable wayfarers in black are actually supposed to be sold at over $200, even though the design is simpler and cheaper to produce
>>
>>62328178
Yea, probably. And the Chinese make either for less than $5, presumably.

Anyhow, >>62327779 maybe just pick "foldable sunglasses" on Ali. Many look close enough.

So the randomizer just keeps bringing me to the AilExpress login page, any ideas what to do?

So I still have a Marshmallow 6.0 phone. Is there such a big difference between Marshmallow and Nougat/ Oreo that it warrants a need to buy a new phone?
>>
>>62328498
Check if there is an Lineage OS build for your phone if you want Nougat.
>>
>>62327748
You can change that in advanced settings.
>>
>>62328513
Mediatek so none. But I don't really care about the shillings, it's serving me capably. Is there such a big gap like in Kitkat and Marshmallow?

anon here who was upset about the $6 KZ ES3 "deal".
i finally managed to order one. my tips:
- use google chrome
- disable loading images and javascript
- add shipping address on gearbest
- be already logged in to paypal (in my case)
- add KZ ES3 to your cart and go to checkout; the price will update automatically on the final order page
- set up an autohotkey script with 2 keys: one to refresh the page and the second one to pick the shipping option and click the order button. it should look like: pastebin.com/iESbwcVL

then when 10:59 comes just spam the refresh key and the second you see the price changing just press the other key.
also i just realised i don't really need another pair of earphones. this is my first true chink purchase, i hope it doesn't consume me.
>>
>>62328458
Did anyone manage to get one?
>>
The chinese now have $120 USD low-bezel 18:9 phones paired with shitty mediatek CPUs, in another month or two they'll probably be available for $80

Not worth it because they're all the same shit thick bezel fake dual camera garbage.
>>
What should I be looking for in a high powered laser pen? No idea why I want one. Probably just gonna immediately burn my retina with it.

What do people even use them for? Surely you can't use them for presentations? They'd burn what ever surface you're pointing at. Is it just for dicking around like I'm planning on doing?

Any good puzzles or tabletop games on aliexpress?

It's a touchpen btw and apart from it being a little too short and the rubber having too much traction, it just works for 11 cents

At last time I bought "Lucky Bag for Camera Sport DV" for $33.33 and it got Innovv C1 HD so that was pretty good deal (until I plugged wrong USB cable to it and broke it).

should I buy the KZ5s? Or should I pre-order the KS6s in case the price goes up?
>>

i exaggerated somehow. in poland minimal wage currently is $2,93 per hour, but it used to be less, for example my mother used to work for ~$2,50 for years (god bless her).
basically when i was younger i learned to calculate how many hours my mum would had to work for a given item and it just stayed with me. it makes you appreciate even the smallest savings.

Which are the more "reputable" chink action cameras? I want something that can be strapped to my head, or stuffed in a waterproof casing and then strapped to my head when I go diving. How does Yi compare to the SJcam? SJcam is cheaper, but do I get the SJ5, SJ6 or SJ7?

I don't think I will need 4k. Good quality 1080p is fine, especially in darker conditions.

whatever you want, there is no best just preferences.
Blues are considered to be for typing, and are loud.
Browns are an inbetween, /g/ memes on browns but I game with them no problem.
Reds are marketed as gamer switches. blacks are heavier reds.
and then there is a whole world of switch autism to explore.

I'd get a switch tester and just try out something that feels good to you.
