Got my razer deathadder this week. Function wise everything including the glowing LED is fine.
The deathadder is supposed to have rubber grips on the sides of the mice and this one doesn't have it which is how you can tell it's a chink mouse.
Razer synapse reads it as a deathadder. No complains at all for the price I paid for it.

QC3.0 for discharge and charging (also has pass through charging if for some reason you're going to use it). dual usb ports allows me to charge both phone and ipad pro at the same time. Lasts me about 5 charges from 0 to 100% for my S7 . Very light since they're using ATL lithium polymer battery instead of 18650s. got it in 1 week

Expensive but well worth it. Can program keyboard, nice lighting system. I got the ALU base so its rock solid and very heavy. Can't see any drawbacks. Got this in about 5 days with DHL . Truely a upgrade from my previous DAS, Corsair and Razor keyboards.

Which are the more "reputable" chink action cameras? I want something that can be strapped to my head, or stuffed in a waterproof casing and then strapped to my head when I go diving. How does Yi compare to the SJcam? I am leaning towards the SJcam because it is cheaper (more than half the price), but do I get the SJ5, SJ6 or SJ7?

I don't think I will need 4k. Good quality 1080p is fine, especially in darker conditions and especially if it is stabilised. I also want a long battery life.

Well, just pulled the trigger on the Mantistek GK1.
Don't want to be part of the botnet so I'm willing to pay less for the blue switches. And I have some o-rings for dampening the sound so hopefully it won't be too noisy.
>>
>>62331454
i think he meant that it's not meant to record, just sense sound for that effect. I'd rip it out anyway but I decided on the Lingbao which uses Outemu switches I think. Older ones used Gateron instead. Why are mechanical keyboard reviews so shit by the way? None of them mention what switches are used.
>>
>>62331351
Don't notice any of that, but I only use it for some orange pis

Also, why did my captcha ask me to type the exact place I live in out of all places it could ask for? Are they on to me?
>>
>>62331336
Honestly it's probably the best keyboard I've ever used. I've used Das keyboard, razor and corsair keyboard and they all don't hold a candle to it (yes I know they're not very good but all are above 150 AUD for me) . The PCB interior is clean no flux residues, the keyboard back plate metal is thick as fuck not to mention the exterior thick aluminium ensuring no flex. Everything about it is just perfect.
>>
>>62331091
SJCam and Git are pretty good.
Firefly and Eken also have some nice lineups.
As for which to get, depends on your budget, but avoid getting anything that's less than US$50 because they'll be shit (may have decent sensors but will probably have shitty lenses, lack functionality, like image stabilization or low framerate for higher resolution and such).
>>
why the fuck are chink keyboards so expensive

>>
>>62331540
why is it such a big deal? corsair has the same fucking thing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pi0oN2-pXrM
also only 1 review mentioned the software sending information and it was a single file when launching it, so it's not a microphone constantly recording whatever you say.
you're so concerned about the 'chink botnet', yet i bet you have an android phone, use windows and/or google chrome, so you already are a part of a 'usa botnet', which ultimately is much worse than the chink one.

nonetheless, i will do some testing after my GK2 arrives and i'll post the results her.

Any feedback on Tomtop shop?

Found out they use a local site (Lizarda) that delivers faster packages via courier and accepts Cash on Delivery. Estimated delivery time is half than usual. Also some prices are bloated but some are acceptable. I just don't know if they're trustworthy. Or have issues like shit packaging or refurbished phones.

Turn the LED off or put black tape over it / draw on it with a black permanent marker.

Would be worse if you really didn't like the font on the key caps, it's probably not possible / worth replacing them.

So i think I'm going to order a Xiaomi Mi A1 to the UK (it supports band 20).

I might as well order some other shit while I'm at it.

I'd really like a decent torch. Does anyone have a recommendation?

Something pretty fancy for house, garden and such. The new 8 mode Convoy C8 (modes can be configured on that by 12 presets). Otherwise the Convoy s2+ with newer strap model. Or a sk68 clone if you want under $5.

Ah and a head mounted lamp can also be useful.

It's an RGB lamp!!!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/E27-3W-RGB-LED-Lamp-Color-Changing-Light-Bulb-85-265V-Remote-Control-AT6/132282705609

It was $0.99 when I ordered it but they raised the price.

No CR2025 battery was included with the remote so I have to get one of those to properly use the lamp. Right now when you plug it in it just cycles through the various colors and sometimes intensities.

Ever since I bought a couple items off AliExpress, I've been getting spam mails every few months. It can't be from eBay or GearB since I barely buy anything from there ever since I became a chink connoisseur.

Wtf are these chinks doing with my email address, they're pretty much sending these spam discount offers from some shady ass website to their previous AliExpress customers that bought off them.
I can't show you the proof rn cos I deleted and blocked the sender, if your gonna accuse me of being a liar.
It's annoying as fuck, take me off the fucking list and stop collecting our data REEEEEEEEEE

I hope I'm not the only one that gets these fucking spam mails. Anyone else experiencing this?

>>
>>62333599

>>
>>62333858
If you really want to DIY, why not.

Unless you already have spare parts I can't see why you'd do this to save less than $10 (after PSU, case and such) though.
>>
>>62333869
What site is it?
>>
>>62333858
You'll need an extra power supply to use it
>>
>>62333858
Iron itself is good HAKKO compatible tips are practically a standard with much better stations. The control board and peripherals look iffy. Unless you have a proper iron already, making one might lead to trouble.
>>
>>62333941
Nice things about those chink diy T12 stations is that they are pretty modular and you can get a better controller for it (plug wiring can differ though)

Just to show it's probably not worth doing this to just get a soldering iron, suggestions from the last thread:

> 936d (and same things under different name such as A-BF GS90D)
https://www.banggood.com/YIHUA-908D-220V-LED-Digital-Display-Soldering-Station-Soldering-Iron-Kit-p-1059873.html

>>
>>62334063
>How would it only be saving <10$?
Because you still have to buy a PSU and case and maybe some other bits and knobs, unless you already have all of that.

See >>62334094 for some other soldering irons. [Okay, the USB one isn't temperature controlled, but you get the idea.]

Most chargers I had were from 60 to 90W
>>
>>62334435
Dunno, I have the A-BF (re)brand of the 936D.

About 10 seconds to warm up on the 90W iron (which I use more than the 120W one 'cause the M tips are more common and I got more of them), I think? But it depends on the tip if the very tip is also at working temperature by then, I usually just give it 15-20 seconds while I arrange some of the utensils like the metal sponge, take out the solder wick and other stuff I need 'cause I suck.
>>
>>62337288 (cont'd)
PS: Could very well be that various needle type heads are hot in 5-8 seconds. 90W is a good amount of power.
>>
>>62336821
I liked this one better with its little ejection lever triangle.

Not that I can really substitute a vacuum cleaner, air filter, IR thermometer, multimeter, vacuum clothes storage bag or tool knife whatever else with a smartphone.

It's kinda a lot of good useful stuff that I bought, each doing its own thing.

Also, the list is really much longer. WLAN AP, USB - *SD adapters, USB power supplies, various battery chargers, various RC toys, clothes, computer peripherals, HTPC, summertime sleeping bag, plastic waifus, household LED bulbs, photographic equipment, bicycle accessories, backpacks, tools, small storage boxes, electronic components, garden utensils & decorative LED & many more things.

Much of the household here has its best incarnation of whatever it is made in China.

Anyone know how good these SSDs are?

KingDian are okay. A pretty normal (not one of the fastest) consumer SSD by today's standards - which is like 5 times as fast as most people need their drive to be.
>>
>>62337706
PS: The article description does have a bunch of approximate block level IO speeds. It's been a while, but IIRC the results we got in /csg/ were ball park in the same range. It's not extremely exaggerated.

I've got a smartband from reputable seller(4 years, 99%). It can't charge and i wrote seller about that 10 days after delivery date. It's too late for dispure now and the seller offers me to sent it back for "after-sale if not broke by human". After that he will ship me a new one.
Will you trust that? I can only check him being honest if he gives me right delivery adress. No other negative buyers reviews can be seen.
>>
>>62338053
That sounds fair enough, but obviously you're going on good faith (and just the ability to leave a bad review) at this point.
>>
>>62338053
i'd be very wary of trusting an aliexpress seller. but if the shipping isn't too expensive and if you don't think you can fix it on your own then you might as well send it in

The screwdriver is not magnetic like most of the usual loose bits ones are, it uses ball detents to hold the bits in place. The EDC capsule is exactly what it should be.

Some shop? Every day.
A sitewide sale? Eh, basically never. It doesn't even make much sense that all stores on ali would want to have a sale. Even 11.11 has few clearances or other sales that make sense, the rest is just deflated prices after a previous inflation JUST for 11.11.
