new Linux user here. Tried vanilla Ubuntu, CentOS, Lubuntu, and Ubuntu MATE. I'll try a few more but I'm pretty sure I'm just going to stick to Ubuntu MATE. It's comfy as fuck with minimal tweaking and seems to be pretty memory efficient and yet feature rich.

I've finally made the switch to Linux in both my Desktop PC and Laptop.. Not too bad. I had some issue with a Mechanical Keyboard on the the desktop and a bluetooth error on the laptop, everything else just work Out of the Box.
Windows 10 shitty font rendering and shitty updates made me to do the switch.

Also not anon, but recently switched to void (gcc) from Arch. Love living without systemd desu. The only thing I don't like is the build system. If I wanted the equivalent of the ports tree on my drive at all times, I'd have gone with funtoo. On the bright side, it's easy to write packages for, and it even has the potential to have a useflags like system (package options), just not many package maintainers use them as such, opting for sane (sometimes) defaults instead. I'd someday love to try out the musl builds, but AFAIK the proprietary Nvidia drivers still don't build correctly if at all with it, and I need them because nouveau doesn't give me fan control.
