MacBooks look good but they aren't good when it comes to the software, plus they're overly expensive for what you get.

Because Michael Dell came back and took the company off the stock market. he didn't want his name and legacy dragged through the mud by morons who had no clue what they were doing.
Personally, I have an Inspiron 7567 Gaming, but almost any would do. I'd look hard at the 5000 and 7000 series.
Considering grabbing a 3000 series with an AMD APU for my stepmother.

I don't only need it because of school, the one I have tends to run slowly at times when I'm multitasking.
Goinjg back to school means I need to use it for even more than I am right now, which means more strain on the CPU.

As I said, I use it for Visual Studios, which is hard to work in with lag.
I need an upgrade regardless of if im starting school soon or not. Me starting school again just intensifies the need to upgrade
