Whether it's programming, CAD, office work, audio visual work, or anything else this device is ill suited to all of them. Screen is too small to be useful for long term work, keyboard is too small and will quickly become uncomfortable if used for more than 15 minutes, clit mouse will never be as good as a real mouse, and it's too underpowered for anything beyond word processing, which it's already ill suited to.

I'm not entirely sure why this thing exists because I don't see what it does better than any other device. Even as a facebook machine I'd think a tablet or laptop would be better.

My brother got one. The keyboard is really really bad. Weird layout means you can't touch-type, making it useless regardless of size. It's a bit too big (the device in general) to thumb-type, but this is the only way you'll be able to type accurately with it. They should've put the nub in the normal spot and moved everything down to take advantage of the extra space in the bottom left. They could've cut out arrow keys as well to make everything fit a bit better. A miniature 60% with a trackpoint would be ideal.
