I used to like them until I typed on a friend's $5 dell rubber dome keyboard. I still don't admit that I like that keyboard, and the cheap fucking mouse better then kb/mouse.

Buy a cheap chink one to see if you like it first. I love my mechanical, and it only cost me 50 leafbucks. It's only about 30 in the US. After using it for six months, I have no desire to buy anything fancier. I did buy a nice new set of caps for it, though.
