Data isn't scarce. I can make a copy and transmit it around the world for approximately no cost. There's no limit to the amount of copies I can make, it doesn't degrade with each generation like analog media.

Communism is a system where the country is divided in small communes where the resources are shared between the individuals living on those communes.
But the bootloader of it, socialism is broken beyond repair as it never actually communizes the country as intended and gets stuck on a loop that ends crashing the whole system.

Also its not exactly a good system, as it would quickly turn back into capitalism as soon the communes started to trade with each other and turned into corporations.

how does the government enforce piracy? do they sit over your shoulder and make you download software that you can't afford or don't want to pay for? no. piracy is free market forces working as they should. the fbi enforcing copyright law is also a market force working as it should.
