I'm needing to get a new laptop, but i know very little as to what to look for.
I'm thinking a Dell or Lenovo laptop, but that's as far as I've gotten. Mainly using it to run games, want it to run new games well, but I'm using it for everything.
- i got a $1,000- $1,500 budget
- able to get me through 4 years of collage
- able to run newer games well
if I'm posting this in the wrong place, can someone tell me where i am supposed to go?

Don't fall for the gaming laptop meme. I literally NEVER played outside with mine, and it would constantly run out of battery when I actually needed to use it for other things. Get a desktop PC for 1/3 the price and a tablet with a keyboard.
