I messed up on a few of the LEDs when soldering so like 3 keys don't light up, but the keys aren't clear so its hard to tell. It just glows between the keys. I love this thing but I don't use it often because I sold my PC.

I think I am falling for the chromebook meme.

Fanless, 10 hour battery life, 2lbs. runs linux nearly flawlessly, ideal remote dev machine that can be turned in to a media consumption/shit posting device at the press of a few buttons. Near ThinkPad level of keyboard quality.

Already have a beefy desktop to SSH in to and run my IDE remotely from it. I could even access my desktop remotely and stream to it's screen.

I don't see much of a downside.

I fell for the linux as a daily driver meme. I even learned how to use i3wm and ricing and everything. Switched back to Windows for some OS-specific hardware and realized I wasn't very fond of spending a week just to set up an operating system properly.

That said, I still love the terminal. I do almost all of my coding work in the command line. Bash on Ubuntu on Windows 10 was the greatest thing Microsoft ever did because it's the best of both worlds.

Got the x220t for cheap and I've drawn some pretty neat stuff with it and the keyboard's done well for note taking, and having it for about 3 years, though it's kinda slow, it's served it's purpose very well.
And the spawn's been the best mouse I've had, super comfy since strong claw grip, planning on getting one of those mice announced as successors later on.
