dwm handles multihead pretty well naturally despite how minimal it is.
The bar is just dwm's bar with colors and fonts changed with conky outputting text to the right, icon font is stlarch... I'll link dotfiles relevant to that soon.

Yes it works very well.
The file manager is the best I've ever tested, and Pantheon apps are great in general.
It's based on Ubuntu 16.04 so you don't have to worry.
