I fell for the qbittorrent meme. the two high lighted torrents I have seeded for days often at more than 1mbit/s and they're even public

but now it only seeds 2 private torrents at fucking awful speed. couldn't get any real speed for the past 10 hours. even googled and tried lots of stuff, checked modem settings, firewall, everything, nothing I could do to improve this

I don't need ratio or anything, I just want to seed good but near dead torrents, especially public ones, but for some reason people have stopped downloading from me all of a sudden after days of consistent >1mbit speed

If you're on Windows, uTorrent 2.2.1 is hands down the best client.

I've also spent a few dozen hours migrating my ~700 torrents to qBittorrent and setting it up properly, even had to port forward because uPnP doesn't work like it does in uTorrent.

I've been running both for about two weeks now, and uT connects much better to peers, while qB idles at below 10% of my bandwith most of the time. qB also forces you to use the file/folder structure dicdated in the .torrent files, while uT lets you move around files to subfolders or other places, so you can cross-seed everything. The latter also uses about half as much memory.

Deluge seems to connect to peers even better than uTorrent, but it also has its fair share of issues. For starters, you can't even change the language, what the fuck?

uTorrent is still the king for anyone running Windows. A shame, but that's how it is.

TV:
MTV is here which you might as well get on if you want to download generic TV shit because you ain't getting on BTN any time soon. Nebulance is here too, it's shit but I'd probably join it if I had nothing else I guess.

HD:
There are a bunch of HD trackers here, most are shit, I guess they're kind of worth having because stuff from better trackers can and does filter down to them. UHDBits is the best of a bad bunch here.

Music:
Apollo and hydra.zone are here. Apollo is OK despite the hate it gets here, hydra.zone is fucked, not worth the time to apply.

Movies:
TehConnection is here as I had guessed, definitely worth getting on. It has plenty of options for most movies and its invite forum is getting better. Probably the best invite available on MAM.

There's a bunch of other shit here too, the .click sites, some of which are OK for certain stuff. BrokenStones if you're a macfag, I'm not so I have no idea if it's good or not. 32pages which I think is for comics, again, don't know much about that.

Any tracker that has an invite forum will have an IPT thread, just go and source an invite. The site layout is shit, the site is run by a maniacal Russian Muslim, you will get banned for speaking out in any way whatsoever, but... it has content, and a lot of it. It's the only general where you can reasonably expect to find a wide range of content. It will fill a lot of gaps until you get into better niche trackers. Don't pay for an invite though, you will be able to get a free one, and if you ever do get banned, which is very possible for just about any random reason, just source another free invite, never pay.
