So then it comes to specs and root accessibility. I can give up on that with the KEYone but that one has minimal bloat and the blackberry features. The S8+ is the sequel to my S7 Edge. I've kept this one stock running a different launcher because KNOX and samsung security features. My last HTC was the M8 and I rooted the shit out of that. Alright guys, this is the last straw.

I'm not a "phone person", and I don't give a shit about having top quality modern hardware or features in my phone. I pay cash for chinkshit smartphones and use them until it actually fails or I inevitably clumsily smash it on the ground. I didn't even fall for the smartphone meme until a couple of years ago when it became more convenient to get one than to not, with so many services just about requiring one now. I can't go back, as now even my workplace utilizes phone-based two factor authentication.

That said, Googles gradual unceasing encroachment and crossing the lines of what I actually want my phone and software to do has crossed the line. I generally only turn location services on when I'm actually using navigation, but I don't always remember to shut it off immediately once I'm done. A couple of times a year I make a point of navigating all the settings buried in a half dozen places in my phone and various accounts to try and keep the metrics and data collection to a minimum, but it gets more difficult and convoluted every time.

So, I need to get as far out of the botnet as possible while preserving the actual core functionality of my phone. How do I go about doing this? I'm willing to migrate completely out of Google services if there is an acceptable maps alternative.

I've never delved into this before and don't know where to start. What do? Currently have a ZTE Warp Elite.

What's the best Android phone I can get for about $300? My requirements are 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage at least with a 2500mAh battery at least, and it must have Lineage OS support. So should I look for a used Nexus/OnePlus or is there anything better? I'm actually considering a OnePlus2. My phone needs are pretty basic and it looks like an excellent piece of hardware. Okay fellas I have a few questions about the Blackview BV7000.
So I'm looking for a phone that's super rugged and doesn't break the bank and the BV7000 looks like an appealing option. So my first question, is the phone really as rugged as Jackie Chan says? this is a common problem when installing an incompatible supersu/root. find a supersu you know will work, do a full reflash of the rom and try again. if you're able to access twrp you could try uninstalling your incompatible supersu, wiping cache and dalvik and booting, but i doubt it'll work.
