contract is ending soon and i have to choose between buying some parts and repairing my nexus 6 to like-new status (new screen, midframe, and back panel) or buying a nexus 5x

So yesterday my S6 edge plus started bootlooping and the only thing I can access on it is the OS loader.

However every time I try to flash a new OS to the phone using Odin I get "SECURE CHECK FAIL: (BOOTLOADER)"

I've tried multiple versions of the stock rom, none seem to work.

Something is wrong with my Note 4. The battery consumption is crazy.

I purchased a new battery straight form the Verizon Store thinking maybe the battery was going bad. Nope. Still horrible. 20 minute drive to work my phone went from 100% to 70% while on charge. Only in Ultra Power Saver mode with the Grayscale background can I keep the phone on while I'm working.

Going to try a factory reset and see if that helps but if not I need a new phone probably.

Budget around 400-500 dollars.
I loved my Note 4 so any features it had I'd like.
Verizon.
Huge battery life is the only thing that I'm concerned with. I need my phone to last for awhile since I drive and use Google Maps.
