At first glance, Rutracker is perfect. Until you realize it's filled with transcodes, wrong editions, and audio set ups suck for the most part. I still use it, but it's not as great as people make it out to be for music.

On a related note, there should be a command-line program that makes a perfect encode every time, and prompts for user input when needed. It should suggest the best value for b-frames, bitrate, CRF, etc.

The encoders on private trackers are too busy being elitist and don't want to do this. They are probably worried about there being more competition. But in my opinion, if everyone was able to produce top-tier encodes easily, it would epic.

But exigo only has like 5k torrents. Sad. At least it's actually seeded and not bandcamp releases though, so it has that over red

You can't determine that with programs, the only way is to compare the end result and the original with your eyes.
Take psy-rd for example. By computer metrics (PSNR or SSIM), the setting makes the resulting quality worse. It's the opposite case when looking at the image quality.
