There is no "standard" look for an emoji, there's only a unicode code point that describes it. If by "the original ones" you mean Apple Color Emoji (which is incorrect), then the issue is that they don't have an open license, so you'd likely have to pay royalties provided that Apple even allows you to use their font. And this is why there are incentives to create an open standard (Emoji One, Twitter, Google, Firefox), but we all know how that fared.

It's the job of the Unicode standard, not Apple, to make sure vendors have interoperable emoji (Apple obviously don't care and they have no incentive to.) Pic related is the rendering of the Unicode codepoint U+1F601 GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES in iOS 6.0 and below. If you're autistic, you might not understand this, but that's not what a grin looks like. It's not the other vendor's fault if they implement U+1F601 GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES with an actual grin, it's Apple's font for having garbage design sense and, apparently, a poor understanding of how to express human emotion.
