People with autism have a tendency to ignore context and take things literally, when they read "one line" they decide it means "one line" and in their mind that's final, they leap to that conclusion before they've read on. The greater context is these sort of puzzles would assume you're trying to draw only one, singular line that must pass through every door, rather than one line per door.

The one line per door one could just as easily be the autist solution because they don't give a fuck about greater context, as both solutions are valid interpretations of the problem.
