For those not yet sure, GNOME 3 is actually better than Unity. Especially on Fedora.

Disgusting

You can get rid of it with an extension.
>>59797732
>those fonts

>>59798668
you can also get rid of it by installing a better DE
>>59797732
You need to click on Activites or press key to show task panel? This is Android tier multitasking functionality. Fuck this shit
>>59797732
Thanks for shilling Gnome. You have been paid $0.01 into your RedHat Shill-Connect account.

You can also just put your mouse in the upper left corner. I prefer to just hit super and the type the name of the program and bam its open.

It functions beautifully though. Much better layout than Windows. It's why people like macOS and LInux.

No it's not.
See, I get the whole customization thing. You want to have a DE that you can properly customize. But nah, nigga.
1. First off, the rounded corners. Why? What's the point? They assume you run programs maximized all the time.
2. You either need Firefox or some stupid Chrome extension to install... extensions. To be able to make the thing more usable, more like.
3. The default menu is basically launchpad in macOS.
4. You know, instead of perhaps using a global menu so the top bar is sort of useful, or put the tasks there, let's just fit the fucking clock in the middle and have only one application be shown as an open task at the top. Why? I dunno, we have all this fucking space but why would we ever use it?
5. What's with the gigantic title bars? Do people really need to be reminded of that shit? You don't even put more things there than a stupid close button.
6. What's that, you want -all- fonts to be the same instead of just a few we selected for you? Time for some .css editing you son of a bitch.

Goddamn! Gnome users look like AMD users and the famous "optimization, coming soon, etc."
Redhat's tiny dick extends towards Uranus.

It helps keep the bloat down to a minimum. The good extensions sometimes get adopted as a regular feature, too.
