but sometimes it goes back to normal colors and if i take out the hdmi cable then it fixes it but only for little while

Well there is your problem.


Mess with your TV settings, if its a recent one it should have a monitor mode under advanced options settings.

Turn point by point mode and graphic modes on.

its a old tv so no advanced options on it. i will try other cables thx for your advice.

Try another port of the gpu. Get a cheap adapter cable. Had the same problem with one of my DP.
