Is there a common fix for this or anything?
I got a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 and it crashes when ever I play a game or run a benchmark.
Like about a minute in I get white / grey / yellow / brown / dark blue screen and have to hard robot.
Works fine on desktop and normal use.
graphigs carbs :~)
take it out and use your integrated graphics like a grown-up :^)

Your shit is broke, RMA it and cry in a corner.
My beef is with the AMD software crashing.

You need to manually resync your z buffer, get it there with a soldering iron and remove the 2nd and third pins on the power connector, that should do the trick.

If it's crashing under 3D load, shit's fucked and needs to be RMA'd. Desktop use means nothing, since it's barely being utilised. Pick a better model when you send it back too. The XFX GTR and MSI Gaming X are far better.

Check the bios switch on the card is not broken.

Have you tried RMAing it?

Stock clock is 1342 MHz at 1.1500 Volts.
Changed clock speed. Got this.
940 MHz at 1.1500 volts runs stable.
1200 MHz at 1.1500 volts runs stable.
1266 MHz at 1.1500 volts fucks up.
1342 MHz at 1.1500 volts fucks up

The fix is fucking getting it replaced under warranty
Why retards never think to do this and make threads instead is beyond me
