If you have another computer you can just download the Windows Media creation tool straight from Microsoft, and it will burn the iso onto a USB for you.
Then just continue with the installation normally and 2hen it prompts you to enter a key click "enter a key at a later time" or something like that.

OleDb is part of System.Data which gets referenced by default.
The tools are for Visual Studio so you can generate/modify/connect to etc. different databases within it. This has no impact on C# or the .NET framework.

You could try removing the System.Data reference and adding it again.

I have a really weird problem. So basically, in Windows 10, on my desktop, when putting my mouse over particular shortcuts it slows down a bit, I mean, it's like the icons are lagging.

You know when you're rapidly hovering over an icon, the blue background thing fickles right? Well for some it lags, there's a delay. If it were all the icons like this I'd understand something is wrong about the desktop and icons and general but some are fine and some are not. should I allow my NAS rated media drives to sleep? My desktop runs 24/7, and I have 2 3TB HGST NAS rated drives for media.

They are NAS rated, so they should be fine to spin 24/7 right? it's annoying when one of them is asleep and I decide to access it and it takes 2-5 seconds.

Whenever I connect, it will stutter very frequently (1 second play audio, 1 second silence, 1 second play audiot, repeat).

Reconnecting it fixes this issue, but the microphone input doesn't work (for example, audio in Overwatch is perfectly fine but when i push the speak button, no mic input goes through).

Turned off "Handsfree Telefony" per rec of some dude in Stack Overflow but then all mic input turns off again.

Any help? Will post screenshots of settings if needed. Been playing around for ~4 hours now and can't think of any other option.

when I set virtual machines to be on internal network, what device gives them IP addresses?

I am playing with windows server 2012, wanting to get aquianted. Installed in vbox, along with some windows vmachines I have.

I set two to be on named internal network. They got IP, they see each other, sharing work. But as server will suppose to be DHCP and DNS serving, I kinda want to know what gave them the IPs and if I cant configure it more? Considering they got IPs from 65k range.. you know 255.255.0.0 mask

Your computer assigns a separate network for your VMs.

For multiple machines inside one network, I assign them a specific NAT network. They'll be able to ping each other, just make sure your DNS/DHCP server is updated.

So, I've been using Windows 7 for the past couple of years.
My system can dualboot Windows 7 or Ubuntu. I mainly use Windows 7 for games.
Anyways, I noticed that you can play Halo 5 Forge if you have Windows 10.
I don't know anything about Windows 10. Is it better than Windows 7? Windows 7 is my favorite out of the windows operating systems but I haven't tried 10 yet... is it worth a try?

you probably just need to move the boot devices around then. I'm pretty sure the microsoft tool sets up the usb for UEFI bootmode.

sometimes the bios tries to boot the usb before it's actually able to read read, or something, so it fails to boot and goes to the next device. Just keep rebooting a few times to see if it will work.

So I have something that's got me stumped.

My Internet, which normally runs at about ±900KB/s, enters on a copper phone line, into the house and into the modem/router combo box.


If one device is connected (as in my PC which is wired to the box), the data rate runs along steadily.


But as soon as another device connects to it, such as a phone over WiFi or another PC, the data rate collapses.

And I don't mean split evenly 50/50 between the PC and other devices.

The other devices aren't even down/uploading anything, and the data rate measured on my PC drops to 0~31KB/s.

I have changed the modem/router box out for a different model already, but the problem persists..


Any anons have any idea on what's going on?

Max CPU core voltage is displayed as 1.450 (though it's showed under the CPU stats and not the mobo one, I don't know why, might be specific to Ryzen and how HWiNFO handles them).

Did you set it to something in particular in the BIOS? Did you overclock? I don't know anything about Ryzen and how it's overclocked so I'll refrain from giving advice but if you just want to use your CPU's base clock then there perhaps is a way to undervolt and get cooler temps. That's what I did with my 7700K; my mobo was set to send 1.3 volt or something which was overkill for stock clocks so I changed it and my temps problems went away.

I'm using Firefox Nightly (55.0a1) I assume it just updated and fucked my shit up but several of my addon buttons no longer appear, most notably uMatrix and uBlock. some addons still still show though but some are comlpleatly missing and they are marked as installed and enabled.so I'm wondering what is causing this issue.
