I've used red switches since about 2012 and switched over to the same model board with blues last fall. I picked up a magicforce with reds and it doesn't even feel mechanical. They should have the same travel distance but they don't feel like it at all.
Am I remembering the switches wrong or are blues that superior

Got a Black Widow tournament edition tenkeyless and so far no complaints. It was cheap and works fine under Linux.

Got my first mechanical keyboard a couple months ago, with MX Browns. It's a little more "crunchy" than I expected, but I'm enjoying it. Still haven't reallly gotten the hang of typing without bottoming the keys out most of the time though. Any suggestions on how to get a feel for that? Also where should I go from browns if I want a more satisfying feedback? Blues?

Have PBT blanks on my Clears and find them too rough. Now I'm just trying to get some doubleshot ABS with decent quality that don't look like shit.

Been watching Massdrop and GH for months but the only drops either look like shit or are made like shit.

Any suggestions?

Look around in classifieds on geekhack. GMK Triumph Adler is usually pretty cheap. If you want something cheaper then look for JTK instead of GMK.

Most of the ebay auctions go well above 100€.
I've been going to flea markets for years now, never seen a single Model M.

My guess is they are either sold as soon as the market starts, or people don't know the value and instead of selling it they just dump it because it's heavy and bulky.
