>mfw he seen his friends and family died on the aame mouse trap so he adapted by carefully disarming the trap and eating the peanut butter

>mfw he does it once and escape but just before he leaves, he stop and look like me
Imma be sad when i finally kill him

>Thinking better means "more elaborate"
>>
>>59424483
One can be done for free with things you have around the house and the other requires you to go to a store, buy it, and bring it home. The bucket's also more effective. You don't end up with snapped traps with the bait gone and capable of much more than one mouse per trap.
>>
>>59424483
when you can get 10 mice in a night, without having to reset the trap, it's definitely "better"

it's not even very elaborate
>>
>>59424512
Those things aren't free around the house if you don't live with your parents, all together they cost more than a regular mousetrap.
>>
>>59424543
you don't have a bucket?

how do you clean your gutters?
>>
>>59424543
I'm sure you have a bucket, a piece of wood, and an empty can lying around. You cannot possibly be trying to argue that spending a few dollars on an actual trap is cheaper.
>>
>>59421734
usb ports and HDMI output
>>
>>59424593
It is cheaper. It's cheaper and simpler while doing the same job, therefore it's better.
>>
>>59424648

good anyone who lives in the woods knows how annoying these fuckers are

one time when I was 18 (I live alone) there was this mouse that really pissed me off because it would make noise under my sink and not fall for the trap so one day I waited, listened, then flung the door open and let me cat go in there. Couldnt find the little fuck. Turns out it trapped itself in my empty garbage bag. Tied the bag took it outside and curb stopped it and it exploded like a party popper.

And if you can't afford a cat just offer to take care of one when the owners go on holiday. - the scent left behind will drive mice away for months.

They're the same mouse traps in the OP. The peanut butter IS stuck to the trigger. The animal sets of the trap on purpose and then eats all the b8
>>
>>59438899
doesnt the pedistal have holes to make it resemble a slice cheese, im saying tie / stick it really well in the holes so they need to really tug on it to get it off

I used the same brand but the pedestal was a little diff so I may be wrong
>>
>>59436404
You can just leave it without filling it with water, so in the morning you'll have live mice.

Although dumping them in most places is illegal and dumping them in the woods is a major nuisance, so generally there's nothing to do but just kill it. I think it's just better to let them die of exhaustion.

My house backs on to a load of fields and just down the road from us is a stream and ponds frequented by ducks

My cat that we had when we were younger would bring in ducklings from the pond or shrews from the fields and leave them by the back door
sometimes they weren't dead so our cat would drop them and walk away and then you'd find a mutilated duckling crawling around the kitchen
