My mini autism cube arrived. It contains regular microswitches but they are not connected. The little wheels feel very cheap, the metal ball is boring and the joystick is already wonky.

I really like the rest, also there was a cord in the package.

All in all fair I guess for sub 3€

Why use a trip?
>>

I just realized that 20ft is only 3meters. Also please use a local retailer to avoid disputes and canceled orders.

I also love to get flashlights in my mail.
Recently I got the Nitecore Tube and these two:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/USB-LED-Flashlight-5V-2W/32722596511.html
Not much to say, other than don't look in the light. Super Bright. Bigclivedotcom reviewed one of these and calculated 1W outage.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Car-Cigarette-Lighter/32650669468.html
The battery of this one was not fully charged, the lamp didn't light up. But shortly after charging it works like a charme. It's also super bright.

>>59266691
its 3 to1 so its like 6 meters.

Although it looks very promising I would buy something established like RN3P or similiar to avoid updating problems in the future.

I never saw this notice at a sellers page: "Note: This smart phone is designed only to work with the current Android/Windows OS installed in it. Any alterations such as upgrades or flashing a newer version will void the warranty."

If you managed to wreck your RN3P, I suggest something more accessible for newbies like you. Try the moto g 4. If you need good pictures consider the moto g 4 plus. I imagine after release of the new moto g line, the old modells will be on sale.

I owned the whole moto g series till 4 and loved it. Unbrickable and very robust. I got butterfingers and even after 2years of heavy use (moto g2) no cracks in the screen.

Currently Im very happy with my RN3P CM13 rooted, xposed and kernelx

you might want to look into buying 2ndhand redmi note 3 pro's or other similar chinkphones at that point.

random trivia: my own RN3P started having an issue with the headphone jack. It wasn't working properly, it crackled and only worked if you rotated the jack, at a specific angle. A sinking feeling overcame me and I looked the problem up online. Other people here and there on forums were reporting similar things. I had dropped my phone in the past so I thought maybe I had fucked up the insides.

Nope, turns out there was simply pocket lint inside the jack and I had to fish it out. Works perfectly. Had a good laugh.

If you encounter secondhand phones for sale that have this issue, haggle the price down by stating it's defective, then fish out the lint at home.

Build quality doesn't look the best, but they feel solid enough in hand.
Tried them on and the first impressions are great. They feel really light and sit in the ear very securely. I feel as if they will never fall out accidentally, they also don't fall out when I give the wires a solid tug.
Coming from the zircons, the difference in bass is huge. Zircons have the nigbass most of us already know yet these are fairly modest. I'll make a proper review once I've used these for a while.

This happended to me twice with different microSD cards. It occured after formatting the card in gparted as a loop partition.

The other time I used it as a raspberry pi boot partition and formatted it more than 10times...

The problem is here described, so they are aware of it: https://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6971/~/sandisk-microsd-memory-card-is-write-protected-or-locked

Both times the card seemed it blocked the write-access (can't delete) but only read. I guess they are not that foolproof after all, or maybe I need some of those nice ropes...

I bought the Xioami piston 3 and I was satisfied and I used them for a few months until I have them to my dad and bought the xioami hybrids hearing that they are an "upgrade" to the piston 3.

The right earphone stopped working in about 3 weeks then the headphone jack broke off in my phone - I was chinked hard

I bought a Redimi Note 3 Pro but I'm looking back at some threads and it seems most people are unhappy with it, zuk 2 is better, camera is shit etc.

it still hasn't shipped should I just cancel the order? Will I get refunded?

Zuk z2 is better in almost every way. Only reason to get the redmi is if you want the bigger screen size, otherwise get the zuk. Much better build quality than the redmis.

For what? Build quality?
Just check the archives. The redmis have nice chassis quality but horrible qc inside. You can kill it with an sd card or otg adapter.

Eh i'm happy with mine running stable Xiaomi.EU ROM.

You can also go for the zuk z2 if you want, you'll be trading bigger screen, bigger battery and a microsd slot for a better processor.
>>

Yes. cancel and get the Zuk Z2.
More RAM, more storage, better camera, better build quality, easier unlocking and flashing, comfier.

>>
>>59270444
No, you can't reopen them, the seller wants you to close so they can proceed to ignore you. Only accept if they agree to your proposal e.g. full refund trough Aliexpress (ignore paypal bullshit)

>>59270912
Nah, it's one or two dedicated zuk shills having buyer's remorse spreading shit about Xiaomis. There is one anon here who got a Z2 Pro here and he seems really satisfied with it, no cut corners anywhere, so if you want a Zuk, that one seems like an excellent choice.
>>
>>59271527
You won't kill it probably, but it can happen thanks to poor quality control.
It happened to an anon in /spg/ last week.

Last year there were reports of cheap otg adapters killing the redmi note 3 pro.

The redmi phones look great for the price, but it's these stuff that kinda put me off from buying them.
>>
>>59271617

The pro is almost twice as expensive.

The only time a OTG adapter killed a Redmi was when someone bought the cheapest OTG adapter possible.

Probably not.
Wasn't there an anon a couple of threads ago who said his redmi 3 stopped working in less than a year?

They're great if you upgrade annually though

>>59271747
I have never bought a phone that could be killed with an otg adapter. Short circuit protection is something Xiaomi needs to start investigating and applying to their phones.
>>
>>59271704
The best way i could put it is "it's okay".
Indeed as you mentioned if you don't have light then it's very shit but with light does a good job, the flash sort of helps with the former.

Have been using it for five or six months, unlocking is the tedious part since you have to wait a couple of days for Xiaomi's sms if you want to unlock it the normal way but it's only once. After that it's as easy as every phone "install twrp, flash ROM, done"
>>
>>59271704
Camera of the RN3P is good for daylight photos and dogshit for interior and nightime, photos look like it tried to paint them with watercolours. Video, for some reason, is excellent in the night time, it keeps focused on objects and there is practically no noise.

>>59271779
We can't know until the three years have passed. I've had mine for about a year now, and believe it can definitely last 3 years, especially since the battery capacity drop won't be as noticeable.

However unless you play lots of heavy games on your phone, I'd maybe recommend getting the Note 4X instead, the camera is improved and the SoC, while less powerful, offers an even better battery life.

So I've had pic related (Xiaomi In-ear Hybrid Earphones Pro (the triple driver ones)) for 3 months now. Some thoughts:

>Sound is solid. Highs sound wonderful and bass is great at most volumes. At the highest volumes it can lose some of the bass but nothing terribly bad. Mids are fine.
>Audio quality on the microphone is fine for calls. Media controls work well. For some reason my phone won't send Google Now through that microphone, but it's probably my phone's fault.
>Build quality is also pretty solid. The metal on the earbuds themselves is gr8.
>Cleaning it sucks shit. The mesh is metal and it's fairly fine, so earwax buildup can destroy the sound until it's thoroughly cleaned. Putting rubbing alcohol on a q-tip should do fine.
>The cable isn't great. It's a fine quality but it isn't 'tangle-free' like they say and it acts real weird if it hangs entirely out of your pocket. I gotta stuff it in my pocket for it to not look retarded.

If you are physically unable to browse the english site and NEED the fucking translations then at least delete your country code from the url you foreign fuck.

In any case, the whole market of 0-2 dollar microphones is a huge lottery. Best case scenario you get a mic that's good enough to use for casual TS/mumble/discord. Worst case scenario the mic is so quiet you have to raise the boost to +48db if you want your voice to be audible, but that will create equal amounts of boosted static.
I ordered like 5 different ones months ago and this one was the best of the bunch. I'd only use it when no other options are available. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/pablo-cant-afford-a-decent-mic/32575814357.html

You can't really check them before you buy, you just have to take the seller's word for it. The trick is to buy things that provide some use or entertainment, like knock off arduino bits. That saves you money on high-cost entertainment e.g. having a gf.
>>
>>59276534
See, that's one of the things I didn't even know I wanted before looking through recommended buys. Surely I'd spend hours on it and get my money's worth. And surely it would pay for itself when my hobbyist experience with programming microcontrollers gives me a chance to increase my wages later down the line. Can't afford not to buy one.

>>
>>59278413
they have the same wattage output as regular halogens so there isn't more heat to damage anything, even if the fans die the LEDs will just die themselves and that'll be it
>>
>>59278252
There is a definite consensus as to what you should swivel upon.
>>
>>59278376
ordered some of these last night. Does the accord have projectors or directional glass in the headlight cluster, also if you can be arsed, can you get a picture of the beam pattern against a wall?
>>
>>59278420
these ones didn't take up any additional space, since the way you plug them in to the socket is a wire they actually take up less space since you aren't plugging the harness directly to the bulb.
>>
>>59278427
You wish, pigment boi!
>>
>>59278439
On my 2010 accord they have projector housings already for HIDs. On my old 1999 accord these would have threw light everywhere and pissed everyone off including the police, but on this car it's perfectly cut off. They perform almost identically to HIDs.
>>
>>59278441
my headlights only have enough room for the small halogen bulbs and plug not to mention the retaining clip, the fan/heatsink is twice the length, need to 3dprint a cylinder to extend out the cousing so i can still close it in the rubber seal and do something about the clip
>>
Hurry home and make your thread regularop!

fuck, my zr has shitty directional glass so I'm guessing these will be too bright for them, Ill order some projectors to mount in there

They will definitely be too bright without projector housings. I don't even really have a reason to use high beams anymore because these are brighter than my highbeams, just they don't shine as high.
