Not op.
1- neofetch / screenfetch.
2- Google it
>>
>>59187040
Reminder inside the terminal is just some shell scripting. It picks a random color and sets the terminal to print things in that color using `tput setaf`. Then it calculates (math (tput cols) - (echo "$argv[1]"|wc -c) + 1) and prints that many spaces (width of the terminal minus length of the message plus one). After it prints all those spaces (use `echo -n` or printf for this) it prints the message it was passed in as an argument and resets the color back to the default with `tput sgr0`.

Pass it one argument, just (head -n 1 ~/Documents/todo/todo.txt)

I have some more stuff that saves the cursor position with `tput sc` at the beginning of the function, then if it was passed multiple arguments, after printing the thing on the right, it goes back to the beginning with `tput rc` and prints the second argument. I can't use `tput cup` to set the cursor position because I don't have the current y offset from the top of the terminal, and there's no official way to get the current cursor position to do math on it even with tput. Kind of sucks

I don't really understand your other question. It was just a `brc yakkety apt-get install screenfetch` then `brc yakkety screenfetch`. If you've just finished debootstrap you might not have the repo, don't forget to include universe, multiverse and restricted for yakkety, yakkety-updates and yakkety-backports

Hope that helps

Really? Who gives a shit about 'bloat' in the year 2017. Are you trying to run your OS on a 8GB Asus Eee netbook from 2012? Any version of Linux is 100% less bloated than Windows.

Sounds like you've never used Debian package tools.

Installing the latest NVIDIA proprietary driver on Ubuntu is like 5 steps. Installing a reasonably recent version is like 2 steps via the GUI.
