Hello /g/. I'm a poorfag who's gonna be building a 2k gaming pc around september. Since like I said I'm a poorfag, I'd like this pc to be at least mid tear in 5-7 years.
Pic related is what I'm going for, with a Crosshair VI Hero motherboard. As for the GPU, it will either be gtx 1080ti or vega, depending on how they perform.
My questions are
>a) does the ram clock and cas matter much for gaming and multitasking? do higher clock speeds destabilize your pc?
>b) will this supply unit be enough if i plan on overclocking both cpu and gpu? will this also be enough when i decide to upgrade in some years, or will i have to get a bigger one?
>c) Does it make sense to also buy a new screen? My current one is 120mhz, 1080p and has no gsync/freesync. Does an old monitor make this whole setup an overkill?
post in the existing thread you fucktard: >>>/g/pcbg

it's close to 404ing

That doesn't matter. People still post there. And if no one answers your question, just post it in the new thread.

or i can post it here, since it's /g/ related and not breaking any board rules

You could, but we prefer not to have the catalog filled with threads like this. Please keep computer building questions in the PC building general thread.
