So Basically I recently swapped from Chrome to WaterFox. For various reasons. I have to say though. WaterFox is comfy as fuck. So Basically what is your preferred Browser/Comfy Browser?

Vivaldi.
It's slick comfy, deletes all the cookies and history if I close it and its gui is top notch in my opinion.
And works great on linux.

>GNU/linux
>>
>various reasons
What reasons exactly? What made you choose WaterFox over Chrome, as well as any other browser out there?
>>
>>58978486
literally kill yourself
>>
>>58978504
k pal, enlighten me what should I be using
>>
>>58978527
Not Vivaldi
>>
>>58978446
I'm using WaterFox as well. Pretty comfy
>>
>>58978504

Literally calm down, it's not healthy for you to be so unnecessarily savage.
>>
>>58978446
everyone is shilling vivaldi and waterfox. I do like waterfox tho but the vivaldi shilling is actually starting to get shitty.
>>
Waterfox is literally just Firefox
>>
What the fuck does Waterfox have over Firefox?
>>
first of all, >>58960099

second of all, Firefox Nightly with IceCat as a backup master race

Better Ram usage (Negligable but still there.)
64 bit version maintained by a community outside of Mozilla.
Decent response times with tabs compared to Firefox.

That is just as far as I know.
And this is OP
>>
>>58978446
I'm using waterfox as well. I'm enjoying it.
>>
>>58978446
Nightly firefox. I don't get the water/cyber-fox meme. What benefits do these have?
>>
>>58978672
Firefox had 64bit for years already.

I like nightly. It runs a lot better than firefox/waterfox/cyberfox (noticeable more on my surface pro 1 than my desktop.)

>>58978486
I'd like to try out Vivaldi, I screwed around with it when it was a new thing but that was a while ago.
>>
>>58978672
>>58978672
Waterfox also respects your privacy, they remove all the data collection and telemetry shit.
>>
>>58978672
>>58979956
Sounds good. Does it have all the regular extensions?
>>
>>58980285
Yes it has compatibility with most if not all extensions.
>>
>>58980418
Cool
>>
>>58978446

I'm still using Pale Moon and yes I realize that puts me in the same spot as the fucktards that were clinging to Internet Explorer back in like 2007

I've truly stopped giving a shit.
>>
>>58983203
I'm using it too. Modern firefox is too much of a bloat compared to Pale Moon.
The only downside to it is that it doesn't support a lot of new addons forcing you to use those ported specifically for Pale Moon.
>>
>>58979956
Proof?
>>
Convert me to waterfox or 64 bit firefox as a longtime chrome/chromium user.

I use lastpass, authy, ublock and 4chan x, that's about it.

I watch 1080p netflix on IE for fucks sake.
>>
If I found a browser that did an omnibar as well as chrome I'd use it. But I haven't yet.
>>
LOL this browser is a monument to compromise. I cant use ANYTHING that requires flash without downloading adobe flash shit player tracks your every move.
>>
>>58978486
this. i can't live without stacked tabs and the integrated screenshots anymore. shitposting was never so comfy.
>>

Chrome is comfy af.
>>
am using opera since 2010 i think, back then i loved the feature that u can group taps to one tab, this feature was abandoned after the engine swap.

i have all my bookmarks in it and am too lazy to change.

is there any browser that can bring back my favorite feature?
>>
I'm also using Waterfox as well ;),man firefox sure has quite a lot of forks
>>
>>58984829
Not Firefox since the add-on developer that made a pretty nifty tab group extension has jumped ship from that garbage browser.

This is the ideal browser. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

UI is so cash though
>>58978446
I'd like to switch from firefox to something similar but with better performance and less bloated.
Do I go Waterfox or Pale Moon?
>>
>>58985457
Firefox has a better UI desu.
>>
>>58978504

Nightly is shit. Breaks addons all the time when I tried it. Only downside I have with Waterfox is the shitty icon. Fixed it on the taskbar but still baked in.

spotted the chrome-browser developer

>>58978446
just use raw xwidget-webkit in emacs and write plugins in elisp as you please
>>
>>58988851
>Breaks addons all the time when I tried it

In what? 2010?

I haven't had that happen in years... granted I don't use 50 addons.
>>
>>58985628
Simply fuck off.
