I going to be using wifi to connect to the internet due to living arrangements. So I've been looking at mobos with built in wifi.

How does this work? If I get a mobo with built in wifi presumably I don't need a usb wifi adapter? or a wireless network card?

If I get a mobo without built in wifi can I a novice easily just fit a network card? In which case is it just a cost thing whether it is cheaper to buy each separately or one mobo with it built in?

this is some good hardware, but it takes a bit of time and effort to wring out the performance. are you tech-savvy and a bit adventurous? if not, go for a 7700 and some ddr4-2400, it will still be stupid fast.

same with the CPU cooler. that's the best cooler available but it's a bitch to install and it's expensive. if you're not overcooling looking into a dark rock 3 or a 212 EVO.

as far as the motherboard goes, make sure it can even use 3200mhz RAM. otherwise you're just wasting money.

for the SSD. i personally use a 250gb SSD for my boot drive and a 1tb HDD for my media and programs. this gives me fast start up times and plenty of room to grow. another place to save cash

as far as a graphics card goes, i don't know what your hobbies are so i can't comment.

the mid-tower case is big. big enough to fit 2 GPUs and several case fans.

you want a Seasonic or EVGA G2 PSU

Hey all. I was hoping for some all around advice on what to do, but mostly for finding a Solid State Drive 1Tb drive.

Last night my laptop's Hard Drive died on me (lucky, I backed up most of it prior), and I'm out a HDD for my laptop. It's an older model, about five to seven years old. Samsung i5, older model. Intel 4000 HD graphics card. 12 gigs ram are the specs I remember at the moment.

I'm looking for a solid state drive as a replacement, 1 TB. I don't have much money, but I don't want a 250 gig when nowadays games are like 40 gigs a game.

anyway, I was wondering where might I go looking for a good SSD online.

I hope you don't mind, but what should I be looking for? I only got a hundred or so bucks to spend, what do I get?

Also, how easy is it to put it in myself? ATM, it's at a computer repair place and I fear them taking me for a ride.
