Used a lot of his NCIX videos back in the day to build a rig, and that rig s solid gold to this day.

He's actually very good at what he does. He has serious autism about tech stats (check out the vids where he links his excel sheets), knows his fucking way around hardware, has a fucking ton of experience (of things going right and wrong), and a fairly good handle on the audience and what it wants to see, and also what it needs to see.

He's a Windows man, looking in at Linux so he's probably still an initiate in the command line. But I think over the last year since he had some server outage, he's been looking into ZFS very seriously, and hence more into Linux. In his latest show in the recommends panel, Seagate have shipped him a Petabytes worth of discs and he's building some ZFS/CentOS/GlusterFS setup. This is fucking way beyond me.

If he went through the motions of getting certified, the guy could legit bring in six figures plus as an IT consultant. But why would he want to?
