Were these locks ever cracked?
First time I ever saw them, I thought they were pretty dumb; only 4 positions? Then I read about the mechanism and it's pretty damn cool.
Otherwise, lockpick thread.
I feel like >>>/diy/ would know more about this.

>>>/k/ too

You disappoint me.
They teach lockpicking at DEFCON. It belongs in /g/ just fine.
I'm afraid I don't have an answer to OP's question because it seems in real life all the padlocks I ever see are really just embarrassing wafer or cylinder locks.

I said nothing about where it belongs, I'm implying they may know more, I think the contents of this thread display the lack of discussion and expertise on it, your post is almost ironic because you didn't offer anything yourself.
Master locks are a joke in the lock picking community.

Why don't we have locks that only unlock with your digital?
>>58689705
Does it need to be unlocked to close?
If not then it's probably fucked by design. You can rip open a soda can and use it like a credit card to shimmy back the locking pins.

Is it one of the bluetooth locks? If so then they're easily compromised.
They sell a "hardened" version with a really high quality boron shackle, the locking balls are too deep to be shimmed realistically too. They're still easily opened with a hammer though.

It's not bluetooth, it's a four way joystick.
They do, however, have a digital version, a master code can be revealed by typing the serial or something into their website.

so the order of the combination doesn't matter?
