I've got a T430 running El Capitan and it's the best decision I've ever made.
Fuck spending hours customizing shit, all I had to do was install iTerm2 and Homebrew. Bam. Up and running

Nah, man. I have a Macbook and an iMac, and I'll be the first to admit that there's a gaping, ATX-shaped hole in the Mac lineup that only a Hackintosh can fill. It's been that way ever since the cheese grater Mac Pro got retired.

There needs to be at least one Mac that can accept a bunch of off-the-shelf SATA HDDs, but there isn't, so Hackintosh it is.
