I once had aspergers too and left my linux box running for more than 30 or 40 days just to see the uptime. I've seen been cured by deciding to not be a faggot and run Windows. I don't want to be trapped around knock-off software that doesn't matter.

My desktop usually stays on for two weeks at a time, but now I turn it off overnight, and when I'm not home because it serve no purpose being on. Keeps the dust out of the filters.

at work we have servers with 600+ days uptime. I've so far been restarting those cause they just cause issues when break down during heavy load times.
