My jolla is damn nice but the battery life isn't great and the screen has a dead pixel.

Follow this (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=96932) to put Sailfish 2 on it. It takes about 10 minutes. Just download those files, boot the phone to recovery (I used TWRP) and then wipe the whole internal storage. Then copy over Sailfish and CM12.1 zips, flash CM, then flash SFOS over it. Boots fine and it's running smooth as butter. Only problem was that I couldn't install apps because the date was off for some reason. I changed it back and everything works.
