EE here, currently doing a masters in control engineering. Imo CS is harder because of how many programming projects you need to churn out, here it's mostly just applied math and matlab "programming".

At my school there was a huge overlap between the two degrees.

CS had the digital part of EE, and more programming
EE had basic programming, and analogue circuits in addition to digital.

Education should be free, which you shouldn't have paid for, even under fafsa's free goverment support bux or other free(?) financial aid/s.

No one has mentioned the masterful combination of both CS and EE: Computer Engineering (CE). I have one year left on my bachelors, feels good to know power+circuits, TTL logic, hardware synthesis using Quartus II, linux kernel+device driver programming, assembly programming, and C and C++ programming.
