Yes, it's still a range rip even if you split it afterward. A "range rip" refers to how the CD was ripped, not how it was processed afterward. The reason why you don't want to rip CDs as a range is because you can't verify how the actual tracks were split. There's no indication whether it was split properly with cuetools or some shitty software like medieval.

It's still allowed to be uploaded to PTH though, but it probably won't score 100% on the logchecker. And if it does, it will probably be docked to 70% in the future as updates to the logchecker are added.

In my experience, if your description is formatted properly (ideally with mediainfo, sample screenshots, and source v. encode comparisons) and the encode passes the basic log checks, it usually takes less than 24 hours, sometimes less than one. But a sketchy encode with a shit description can go ages without being checked.

Personally it's been the total opposite experience for me. I downloaded 100+ torrents during APL FL, and also grabbed all their staff picks and used up most of my tokens. I only have 20-25GB up on APL though even though I seed 24/7.

Whereas on PTH, I joined after the sitewide FL, yet I have ~75GB up. People where snatched a lot early on in the APL freeleech may be /setforlife/ but post-FL APL is no better than PTH for getting buffer.
