most of the time, their reasoning is the dynamic range plugin on foobar and that's it. the vinyl is quieter and has a higher dynamic range, therefore the CD is unlistenable garbage (apparently)

back on your home connection, get any one of several large vpn providers. https://torrentfreak.com/vpn-anonymous-review-160220/ is a fine list that won't steer you wrong. everything else, your day to day, through that shit. your isp doesn't need to know where the fuck you're throwing that connection all the time. they sure as shit don't need a ton of logs of huge sftp sessions.


this is all probably more than your average bear at OPSEC. go in any number of entry level trackers including MAM, AB, TehC and you'll see tons of people just using their bare metal connection. they're idiots. have some pride in what you're doing, take the time to set it up right
