Hello
im thinking of bying a laptop with ssd as a hard drive with 128 GB.
My question is
>What happens when ssd get full ?
I buy another ssd card ?
another laptop?
You buy a cloud and store it there

No I dont want to pay monthly for memory storage.
can i change the ssd with another in laptop ? or the best strategy is to have an external HDD for storing big files ?

You told us nothing about the use-case, so all we can give is shit advice. Also, there's a stupid questions thread dedicated to questions like yours >>>/g/sqt
Anyway, most laptops don't come with two 2.5" slots, sou you can't just whack in an extra HDD like you would in a desktop. If your laptop has an optical drive, you can often remove it and install a hdd holder in its place (or have a professional do it for you), but you should definitely check if that's possible with your model. This way you can have an SSD for speed and an HDD for storing large files.

Build a desktop and just add more HDDs of any size. Mechanical storage is dumb cheap and most cases can fit 6+. Use your smartphone when you're not at home

You can't download anything else until you delete something
>I buy another ssd card ?
Only if you have another place to put another drive
>another laptop?
You could, I'll take your old one for $50
>>58444407
you have to install gentoo when the SSD gets full
>>58444407
Buy a 240GB SSD minimum.
Once it gets full you either delete stuff or move it to a HDD or online.

Replace the useless DVD drive slot with a full sized hard drive.

Wait till prime day and snag a 1TB for $150

99% sure this is bait but whatever
literally the same that would happen if it was an hdd. your OS cries, everything slows down, you stop being able to download/decompress/save files until you make some space.
128GB is too little btw, get at least twice that much.
2/10 made me reply
