I use a ThinkPad, in fact I use them religiously. The only laptops other than ThinkPads I could see myself using are either the Xiaomi Mi Air things or a Let's Note, pic related. Too expansive to justify buying though.

I don't buy Macs because I don't personally like them, and Apple a shit. That being said, if these guys were seriously giving you shit for owning a Mac, that's pretty autistic. If it was lighthearted banter, I could find that funny.
