I bought a Samsung 64 gb EVO+ micro SDXC uhs-I card, and I think it might be fake.

The packaging says it has a read speed of 80MB/s and a write speed of 20MB/s.

When I put the card in my phone it told me that the card was slow and probably won't work correctly. It gave me some problems so I reformatted it and put it in my PC and tested it with H2testw and got

Reading speed: 18.1 MByte/s

I finally got a smartphone in September, an HTC 10 on Android 6. I want to really utilize it, and I'm slowly getting it all setup to my liking, but what are some things I should be doing as far as security and privacy are concerned? Mostly as far as day to day stuff goes in case my phone gets stolen, because I still have the stock OS so I realize I can't reasonably trust the OS to not be leaking shit to the government, although I'm also interested in doing what I can on that front as well.

I can vouch for the ZTE zmax2. Great for under $100 with a removable 3000mah battery, SD card slot, GSM unlocked, Qualcomm 410, 16gb onboard storage and 2gb ram. As long as battery is in decent shape. That's an older phone now and some people are hard on batteries.

SD 801 won't get nougat as far as I know unless maybe a custom ROM.

Otherwise, the Z3 line was decent. Battery life was great and the design of the phone wasn't terrible. I had a Z3c, was a great phone only issue I had was with the proximity sensor. Paint on the glass was too dark and it would just stay off in phone calls, couldn't turn on the screen.

The Moto G4 play is a great all around cheap phone. Runs stock Android for the most part and is decently built.

The only other thing I could recommend is perhaps an older S5 but I can't stand touchjizz. Check what your carrier has. Moto g play is college fag phone IMO. It was 2gb of RAM and an SD410, battery life is excellent. Oh and 5 inch screen, 720p. Camera is a little on the meh side, but it does alright.

> camera quality lowers drastically in lower / indoor light

> back of phone is glass - really really slippery, placing it on my wood desk and charging it causes it to slide around if the cable is even slightly moved
> a bit on the thicker side (but some people might prefer this)

There's not really a reason for these anymore unless you are extremely careless. Gorilla glass 4 is really scratch resistant, and these screen protectors won't stop your actual screen from cracking as well as a case.

You just install some drivers and do some fastboot shit to remove the ads and unlock the bootloader, then you flash the stock rom, stay with the one you have or go for a custom rom

It is hard in the sense that it might not work at all because of incompatible drivers, your usb ports being faulty, the cable etc, be warned that this is for the amazon moto G4 (5.5"), not the amazon G4 play (5"), atm there is no known safe way of removing them or unlocking the bootloader.

Personally ive never had a phone where i had to unlock the bootloader to flash CM/some custom rom on it or mess around with fastboot, it seems too much of a hassle, all i had to do in my previous phones was root, install a recovery and install the rom via CWM

You'd lose the compact factor unfortunately, as the Robin is a 5.2"er.
However, you would have a solid hexacore Snapdragon, 3gb of ram, a solid 1080p IPS screen, and a pretty good camera (provided you've got a good amount of light).

hello /spg/ I have a samsung galaxy note 3 I bought 2 years ago that won't charge. What I mean by that is that every time I plug it to a power outlet it won't get any charge, and when I use it while its plugged it will drain the battery instead of charging. Now it won't even get any voltage from any power outlets around the house, and other houses as well, I have tried different usb cables and ac adapters for said usbs and I believe they arent the problem.
