Was this the best Apple laptop?
Not if you want to run OS 9 natively.

Why would anyone want to subject himself to the misery of running that crap?

No, that'd be this

>"special" menu
>Graphing Calculator instead of Grapher.app
>clicking sounds
>platinum appearance

>windows that collapse into the titlebar
I'll never forget you Classic Mac OS.

Some software doesn't work in Classic. It's fast. Early OS X was pretty shit. It's nostalgic for some.
>>58246248
This if you don't need OS 9. So comfy.
>>58246268
Early OS X was pretty shit, it was slow as hell til 10.3 and 10.4 with Spotlight really made it a "finished" operating system, but even 10.0 was exciting. You could see what a huge change it was.

Mac OS 9 reporting.
>>58246143
The last non-retina MacBook Pro was best.
The previous aluminum form factor that started with the pro G4 laptops was pretty comfy to.
>>58246205
hope it gets an x62 equivalent someday
>>58246360
But how!?
>>58246360
I gotta get my G4 tower up and running.

It was the OS of the future, except it was still the present. Kind of makes you think about Apple abandoning USB-A and if it is really that bad. USB-C IS the future, but we use USB-A for too many things.

Classilla can't post a reply because it's old so I copied the screenshot over my network to my main PC.

I've actually ditched the Mac platform unfortunately, they started prioritizing phones over pro users and I'm not a fan any more. USB-C is neat, but we'll see. I still miss firewire.
